Honda has an extensive history in Formula One. They currently supply engines but previously ran a team from 1964 to 1968 and later ran a team from 2006 to 2008. They have supplied engines to many championship winning teams such as Williams Racing(1986-1987) McLaren (1989-1991) Red Bull Racing(2023).

They are currently supplying engines to Aston Martin as of 2026
