Enlil
Appearance
Enlil (also known as Elil and Ellil) is a Mesopotamian god known for wind and storms. He was known for separating heaven and earth, and made the world better for humans to live on. However, he caused the flood described in the Eridu Genesis, which was a result of his dislike of the sounds humans were making.[1]
Place of Worship
[change | change source]He was mainly worshipped in Nippur, and had a temple there.[2]
