Ambiorix
Appearance

Ambiorix (Gaulish for "king of the surroundings" or "king-protector")[1] (fl. 54–53 BC) was prince of the Eburones, an Belgic tribe of north-eastern Gaul (now where Belgium is) with Cativolcus. In the 19th century, Ambiorix became a Belgian hero because of his resistance against Julius Caesar, as written in Caesar's Commentarii de Bello Gallico.[2]
