He's Different
The doctor stares at Lex while she patches Ethan up. Clark's not entirely surprised; they still get looks sometimes. Clark ignores her and holds Lex's hand while she stitches the cut on Ethan's shoulder.
Later, as they're leaving, she approaches him.
"Mr. Kent?"
"Yes, Dr. Bryce?"
"Is that Lex Luthor?"
"Yeah. He's um… my boyfriend."
"Oh."
"Is there a problem?"
"Nothing." She shakes her head. "Just…I'd met him once. He seems different."
He nods. Sometimes, he gets that too. People who knew Lex before he went to Smallville. Clark's heard some stories. But he doesn't care.
He knows this Lex.
