Science for All

Science is knowledge. Knowledge is for everyone.

Supporting everyone in the world to get involved in shaping the future of human knowledge.

What is Science for All

Science for All is a charity that supports everyone in the world to get involved in shaping the future of human knowledge.

What we do

We recognise that many of the challenges facing the planet today do not have solutions which fall into categories such as public health, environmental research and education. We recognise that knowledge takes many forms - this includes people who are subject area experts, people with traditional, Indigenous or local knowledge - and those with big dreams and big ideas.

Our aim is to bring together experts from these diverse areas to work in partnership with as many people as possible by using a combination of free face-to-face events in metropolitan and rural areas, as well as online tools.

We do this through projects like Standardised Data on Initiatives (STARDIT), Campfires and Science and Wild DNA. We also work with partner organisations around the world to help improve how everyone can be involved in shaping the future of human knowledge.

Who we work with

Recently, we’ve worked with a number of organisations to support public involvement in research and co-design processes, helping to make research more inclusive, transparent, and impactful— using Standardised Data on Initiatives (STARDIT).

University of New South Wales (CHRI)
Partnering with CHRI, we support projects like Ten4Ten, improving cardiovascular health in “Tiny Town” communities through co-designed approaches and transparent reporting using STARDIT.
Australian Citizen Science Association
We co-created a discussion paper using participatory methods, resulting in ten recommendations to improve inclusion, ethics, and impact in citizen science. Read the STARDIT report.
Wikimedia Australia
Partnering to co-design and develop STARDIT, with Wikimedia Australia hosting and supporting the platform. Learn more.
University of Queensland (COM-IC Project)
We supported co-design of dementia care outcomes with people living with dementia and stakeholders. Read the STARDIT report.

On the Projects page, you can learn more about past and current projects.
