Photo discussion week #46
It's that magical time of week again ... photo discussion! I decided to pick DMC another week; if every picture is a thousand words, I wonder what the theme of this would be?
My question is this: How in the world did one of the most recognizable and cute (not to mention wanted by the law) women in Port Royal get aboard the ship WEARING THIS DRESS? Better yet, why did she bother? Wouldn't there have been a watchman on duty, and wouldn't something like a white and gold floofy dress catch the eye?
Also, why did she leave the dress on board and not just toss it over the side? I could speculate that maybe there was a small part of her that still figured the wedding could take place as it was intended, and the dress was expensive and pretty, and she didn't want to throw it overboard ... or that by throwing it overboard, she might be giving up hope of finding Will. Except, she obviously didn't take it with her when she disembarked in Tortuga. Questions, questions ...
