Sound - 10%
Probably the least important category for me, but still something that can noticeably improve or hurt a series. Most of this score comes from the music itself: openings, endings, OSTs and how well tracks are used during important scenes or fights. The rest comes from voice acting and sound design.

Story - 15%
When it comes to story, I care much more about execution than originality. Anime can have weird or generic concepts and still be great if they're handled well. Pacing, consistency, payoff, dialogue and how engaging the narrative is matter more to me than whether the premise is unique.

Characters - 20%
Characters are still important to me, but mainly in how entertaining, memorable or emotionally effective they are. I care more about how characters fit into the story, interact with others, and keep me invested rather than how deep or complex they are on paper.

Art/Animation - 25%
This matters more to me than it probably should. Good animation, strong direction, choreography, effects, atmosphere and visual presentation can massively improve my experience. I usually judge animation relative to the time the anime released rather than constantly comparing older shows to modern productions.

Enjoyment - 30%
This is the biggest category for me. At the end of the day, how much I enjoyed watching the anime matters the most. A show can be flawed but still extremely entertaining, bingeable, hype, emotional or just fun to watch. This category is basically the "overall feeling" score that ties everything together.

Sound (0.10) + Story (0.15) + Characters (0.20) + Art/Animation (0.25) + Enjoyment (0.30) = Final Rating
