G. Love on CNN

G. Love is strumming his guitar, stomping his foot and clearly having a good time belting out the lyrics to "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover."

"This is my 11th record, and I've never released cover songs on any recording," confides the Boston-based singer-songwriter.

The 1975 Paul Simon tune is just one of several new renditions of some old favorites peppered through G. Love's -- aka Garrett Dutton's -- new album, "Fixin' to Die." There's also a cover of the Velvet Underground's "Pale Blue Eyes" and a couple of time-honored blues tunes, including the title track by the late Mississippi bluesman Bukka White.

Bobby Long is deterred neither by the chilly winds nor the thundering trains on the Manhattan Bridge as he delivers a heartfelt rendition of "A Passing Tale" to the lower Manhattan skyline. The vibrant graffiti contrasts the elegant touches of the 1909 structure, an apt visual depiction of the dichotomy of an "Englishman in New York".

This poetic film pulls back the curtain to reveal intimate partnerships with the people Feist calls her ‘amplifiers’: The photographer who helped her hide within the frame, shadow puppeteers in hockey arenas, an artist who built a thread-radiating mural, the video director who conducted fireworks, the pianist who guided the recording of the album, and other musical and visual collaborators. The film follows Feist and her supporting cast through an impressionistic array of flickering scenery, echoing stadiums, puppet workshops, the red carpet, a crumbling French mansion, definitive concert performances and uncommonly candid interviews. Itself a part of the creative mosaic it portrays, Look At What The Light Did Now illuminates the synergy of collaboration, art as magnifying glass, and the power of trust.

Having just introduced their "brand new smoking great material" (Back Beat, Seattle) to North American audiences on a recent US tour, 22-20s are releasing their first track for Rock Band!

22-20s are a British rock band, originally formed in Sleaford, Lincolnshire, who disintegrated scarcely 2 years after their acclaimed 2004 self titled debut LP. In 2008, a reconstituted version of the band reformed around the founding nucleus of singer/guitarist Martin Trimble, bassist Glen Bartup and drummer James Irving, adding Dan Hare on guitar and backing vocals.

Shake/Shiver/Moan is their second album and features "Latest Heartbreak."

This video shows the Rock Band Network version of the song developed by Offbeat Entertainment.
