Thank you for the feedback! It's a bug I found that if the first chicken hits level 999, Cluck Norris can no longer be upgraded. It's fixed in my current version along with tons more fixes and feature updates that I'll be uploading after the game jam judging ends in a couple weeks 🙌
I'm glad to hear that you liked it! Thank you for the feedback, I have been getting reports lately that Cluck Norris can't be upgraded past level 500 for some reason, so I'm looking into that bug. Sadly I can't post a patch until the voting for the game jam is over. But believe me, there will be a HUGE update to the game once the game jam voting is over! 🙌

cluck norris is bugged cant go above 200

its going well! needs a few fixes, cant upgrade cluck norris and they stopped laying eggs at one point

For the record, I am not sure if I could upgrade him past 500, I was referencing his pricing vs output <3
The reason I left him on 500 is because his upgrades didnt make sense to take and I wanted to compare him to later chickens at higher levels
