New comic

Ahoy, me heartys! Sadly it seems I'm out of minimcr ideas, if you had not guessed this already.

I am however learning how to do 'proper' comics (ie. using a standard page size, with a story and characters that are 100% my own), and I thought I would post now that I've really got going on the project.

This is SO much fun, and I'd love it if any of you would like to join me on this :)

Genre wise its semi steampunk, semi fantasy, character driven and great fun to draw.

Xmas dinner is very disappointing from a can...

WALLPAPER:

Xmas lights inspired by a picture a friend drew me of a buffalo on stilts.

I have awesome friends, clearly.

Didn't finish Nano >.> but I just needed it to kick start a story which I want to make into a full comic. I could put it on another LJ, if anyone was interested.
Also, is anyone interested in watching UStreams if I set up a regular time? Its kinda fun, when it doesn't crash.

I love that I did a killjoys minimcr picture while listening to Keane and Vanessa Carlton. Because I am HARDCORE. ^_^

I'm trying out UStream tonight, if anyone is around to help me test it/get used to how it works or who wants to see my very special way of drawing that shouldn't work but does.

I can't guarantee minimcr artwork but it might be fun anyway :D

I'm torn... some like The Only Hope and SING grabbed me from the start but Bulletproof Heart keeps getting in my head.

PS. Gerard's new hair is great to colour... but hard to draw without a photo or it just ends up like a mop of boringggg.
PPS. Oh hai, so I went to uni and learned how to be less lazy and draw backgrounds.

Hello everyone. I miss you guys, your comments always made me smile :D Unfortunately you cannot pump out ideas (unless paid for it maybe, tehe) so hence, lack of updates. However since the new album is being dangled at us all like a very shiny carrot, I have redrawn new!MiniMCR. Now with hands :D

And I totally missed out on ALL the Twilight fun, so I doodled you all a little picture.

I hope you can tell my quality of drawing has improved, even just through cartoons. I finished my BA degree and now I'm doing a Masters. I also started an account on MCRs site to chat, I hope it wasn't a bad idea haha. The username is evilcheese.
How is everyone?! I must try to reply to every comment this time around, I feel bad leaving you all hanging all the time. Tell me something! Anything, a new band you like, an artist whose work you love, something random that happened to you recently, or how much I should not make gentle fun of your favourite book which is by a certain S Meyer :D </div>

I'm doing some random World of Warcraft comics on my deviantart, if you're into that. Same random humour as here! Also a few odd pages of a full sized comic for practise.

I hope you guys are all good! I guess exams are coming up for some people, so good luck. I'm doing a major project right now, so I sympathise.

I got a new graphics tablet, and I went to see Nightwish supported by Pain at the Astoria, did anyone here go? Pain were actually good. Normally I'm bored through support bands. And they pulled off a Beatles cover which is normally musically blasphemous!</div>

You've...probably noticed by now, but I figured I'd make it official and all.

MiniMCR is on indefinite hiatus

Due to
-university work
-lack of drive and ideas
-interest in other areas of art...like uni work

I've lasted 2 years+ doing this, which is...more than I would have expected.

New comics may be posted if I regain my comical muse, but as of now, don't expect any.

If you like stalking people's artwork, I'm on deviantArt, but my work is nothing like my cartoons. I like concrit though :D

I suppose this is goodbye for now. I'd like to say thank you. To lapifors very very much for her help and modly evil. To my friend Saz for letting me comic her. To my bro Gemz for helping me with myspazz.
To all of you, commenters, fanarters, lurkers, everyone. Thank you for all your comments, emails, artwork, poll answering, and all of your support. I'm glad I could make you smile. :) You're all fantastic, and here I've met some very awesome people.

The archives will remain up here for you or any new people to look through.

Hi everyone! Sorry for lack of updates. I can explain this below for the people who are interested. On with the toon:

So this holiday hasn't really been a holiday XD I've been
a) visiting friends, which is fun. Especially when I have a student railcard and get money off. but
b) I have been having laptop problems AGAIN. For those who are interested, it's been blowing its batteries, ever since I got it back from the first time it broke. I sent it off again and it came back broken saying the problem was with the adapter and I had to buy one. I bought a new adapter and battery, and it killed THAT battery, so it's being sent off AGAIN soon. THEY BETTER FIX IT ALREADY D:. They've had it for over a month and a half in total. It sucks. I'm currently running it off the mains.

Er...also, I went to Disney for 5 days!

I go back to uni on the 15th, so, illogically, updates might be more often? XD I have Freshers week first anyway :D

Apologies for lack of updates. Reasons are: ~holiday, ~lack of artistic inspiration (LOL) and ~technology hating me. More on this after the post.

I went to Menorca. Is awesome there! but hot. And I know hardly any Spanish. So, if you know a useful Spanish phrase, post it here :D! I need to learn it really.

So my laptop broke previously...went off to be fixed...was returned, and subsequently killed its own battery. I was send a new one and 2 days later it killed THAT one so it's being sent off AGAIN soon. At least I can see the screen to back it up this time. ALAS. MY BABY. TORN FROM ME.

Since HP7 is all D: right now...this is a comic predicting the ending in a joking fashion. There are NO SPOILERS.
There will be no drama. No flaming etc. Anyone who does so will be banned/blocked.
