Anmerkungen: Aus unerfindlichen Gründen hab ich immer darauf gehofft, dass jemand mitkriegt, dass Stiles gegen einen verdammten Baum gefahren ist und nicht mehr auftaucht. Und parallel dazu fand ich diesen Moment wahnsinnig toll, wo Derek und Cora im Auto sitzen und abhauen wollen und dann mitkriegen, dass Lydia in Gefahr ist und wieder umdrehen. Und dann hab ich beide Szenarien kombiniert und äh ja. Daraus ist eigentlich diese Graphik entstanden. Totale h/c-Selbstbefriedigung, ich gebs zu. ^^*

I made two versions, because I couldn't decide which one to use.
I tried to go for creepy and slightly melancholy because I loved the vivid dreams Stiles had and also, because the thought of Derek being all alone and on his own made me so sad.

My harlequinbbang-Fanart for safaiagem fic "Turn it up to Eleven" (or read it here on "AO3" which you should totally go and read RIGHT NOW, because it's seriously amazing and it has demon!Stiles and hunter!Derek!

The other thing I had to learn was how to turn Stiles' (beautiful, beautiful) brown bambi eyes into a menacing black without it looking totally fake and badly photoshopped. Thank god I have the nicest team mates ever in beacon_hills and everythingshiny gave me a super quick, super awesome tutorial and basically saved me from horrible embarrassment. (Thank you! ♥)

I'm not really an artist, but I did put a lot of thought into this stuff even though you probably can't tell. ;) I try not to spoil too much, that's why everything sounds really vague, but you probably get what I mean anyway.
I loved the surreal quality of safaiagems fic, the way reality is skewed and fuzzy and not quite right and how everything feels false, but more intense at the same time. That's why I tried to give the fanmix a slightly shifted, blurry look. It's not because I need new glasses or anything - even though I do in fact need new glasses, but well. My intention was artsy, in case you couldn't tell. XD

I can't tell you why I put Derek between "Kate" and Stiles without giving away too much of the plot, but I guess it's self-explanatory after you've read the fic. ;) (And go on! Read it! Now! What are you still doing here?!)
I chose the upper part because sitting in a car and arguing had a very Supernatural/Winchester-feeling for me, since that's basically the plot of the first two seasons (spoilers for Supernatural: Dean and Sam sit in a car and argue all the time! XD), so I tried to include that, in case you couldn't tell.

Basically I chose this as the cover pic, because I love the way Derek is holding onto Stiles, but can't bear to look at him. That was kind of the vibe I got from "Turn it up to Eleven", that Stiles totally gets under his skin and Derek has all these feelings, but he can't bear to face them. Same goes for Stiles.

Basically I chose songs based on the sound and feel of it, instead of the lyrics, but then they fit surprisingly well, too. ;)

Stiles could handle bullies. He totally could. But he had to admit it was way more entertaining to watch Erica actually growl at them (teeth bared and everything), Allison delivering a well-placed kick in the guy's nuts who had pushed Stiles against the wall and Lydia verbally dismembering them one after the other.
"You mean, how does it feel to have friends who have my back and can kick your ass?" Stiles asked and smiled down at them. "Pretty fucking great actually."
