Mosinee: The Mammoth Hunter

Join us at River Park for a unique, hands-on program about our prehistoric ancestors, led by educator and primitive skills expert, Sean, the Mammoth Hunter. See museum-quality replicas of fossils and artifacts, learn about remarkable prehistoric survival skills, be immersed in a reenactment of a woolly mammoth hunt that occurred in Wisconsin nearly 15,000 years ago, and so much more! Participants will also have a chance to ask questions, see the displays up close, and take memorable photos.

This free event is open to children and their caregivers, with no registration required. We’ll meet at River Park from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. In case of rain, we’ll meet at MCPL Mosinee on the second floor. For more information, contact 715-693-2144.
