New Stuff
I start my new job as a New Media Manager on Oct. 5! I'm very nervous, excited, scared, sad, all of those things.
The "Lulu" chapter of my life, as great as it was, is ready for its close. The job is no longer what it was. The company is nolonger what it was, and I am no longer a good fit for it. It does feel a little but like abandoning a child. I care so much about Lulu and worked so hard to make it succeed, but now it feels like those efforts were in vain. I'm proud of my work there and hope Lulu survives this tough transition period. We shall see. I do aknowlege that I am taking a risk by leaving, but there is just as much risk in staying at this point.
I hung out with someofmy favorite current and ex-Lulu's last night and had a blast. I definitely made some "Forever Friends" at that place and I will always be grateful for that!
My Bridal Shower is today and I am very excited, but not sure what to expect. Many aspects have been kept secret.
In other news, I think I am addicted toonline Texas Hold 'Em. Good thing I'm not playing with real money!
