We're Bairwell Ltd - a "micro-entity" company in the UK where we - alongside some commercial web development work - develop open source software (mainly under the MIT licence, but some work is GPL/Perl Artistic licence) such as the new Perl "Locale::MaybeMaketext" module, various randomish shell scripts (such as one to sync your Github repos to a Synology device), PHP libraries such as Middleware-CORS and the "Faker" ONS based data sets (for first names and lastn ames/surnames). This is along with maintaining the hugely popular PublicWhip website and source code. How will any money raised help? Well, it'll help cover the server bills for PublicWhip at a minimum, but it'll enable us to spend more time actually developing and maintaining open source software rather than spend that time trying to make ends meet to survive.
