Bravely I'll begin again

I've been alone for 8 long years
and now, I've had enough
I'm not quite sure just how I feel
but some things must adjust
I know my journey's just begun
the road ahead is long
I've made mistakes and burned my brakes
and then I spun and spun
Enough's enough
I've got to try
The time is long since due
I shall return with open heart
And see the day is new
