LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Miss University of Arkansas Whitney Williams now wears the crown as Miss Arkansas 2021.

Williams competed along with 51 other women and was crowned by Miss Arkansas 2019 Darynne Dahlem on Saturday night at Robinson Center in Little Rock.

As the Miss Arkansas winner, Williams will take home scholarship money.

The competition wascanceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Organizers said that the field for this year's competition was the largest in its history. This is the 83rd annual competition.
