Haylow! :3 I just joined this community some minutes ago and I wanted to introduce myself. I'm a little bit longer on LJ and I was former known as ikuya, now as deria_hime.

In February I became 18 years old, I'm living in Hamburg, that's in the north of Germany. I am a sixth former and sill have one more year to go to school, until I have to write the final school leaving exams.

I started watching doramas about.. 2 years ago, out of boredom. I started with Attack No. 1 and Gokusen 2. My favorite doramas are the japanese ones, because I can listen to that language for hours. But I'm also watching dramas like It started with a Kiss/They Kiss Again. Although especially IswaK/TKA are sometimes quite embarrassing, it's fun watching.

The idea of this community is really good, giving dorama-fans the chance to talk together.

At least I want to make a little bit of advertising. Yesterday my best friend and I opend an Asian Drama Icontest Community.

Asian Drama are the most thrilling, exciting and entertaining amusement since the internet has been invented, so they have to be honored.

The first challenge has just started. You have to be a member in order to participate.
Or if any community want to be an affiliate with our community, reply to the post here.
And of course tell it to all of your friends! :3

Hi! My name is Alessia, I'm from Florence, Italy and I just registered in LJ...i really don't know how to use it yet but i hope to discover it soon and make new friends too:)
I really love J-dramas...actually i started watching them just a year ago, before i was only watching anime and reading mangas...
I really really love Japan, I'm trying to learn the language and I hope to visit it soon!

My favourite dramas are Nodame Cantabile, Kimi wa Petto and Densha Otoko in this moment but i watched also many other dramas like Hana Yori Dango, Nobuta wo produce, Hana Kimi, Life, Liar game and so on. In this moment I'm really enjoying "Last Friends" , which is currently airing in Japan, with my beloved actors Eita and Ueno Juri <3 It is becoming one of my favourites!! I'm also currently watching Osen and Shikaotoko Aoniyoshi.

Sooo...this is really a long boring post, written in awful english so I stop here :D anyway feel free to send me a private message if you'd like to talk with me about j-drama, Japan and everything else, I will give you my msn address! Hi I'm Arisa and I love doramas. I live in a big city on the East Coast, where liking Japanese things isn't that very common. Anyway, I have watched almost 20 dramas so far including: 1 Litre of Tears, Proposal Daisakusen, Hana Kimi, Honey and Clover, and 1 Pound Gospel.
Currently I am watching : Last Friends, Osen and Zettai Kareshi. Doramas are what I mostly watch in my free time because they are so good. ~~(and the actors are so hot)~~

Hi I just joined, and i'm not very good with LJ.
Anyway i'm Georgia, i'm from Australia and was in Tokyo 2 weeks ago for 2 weeks, which was VERY exciting. My favourite J-dorama's are Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (my favourite), Nobuta wo Produce, Zettai Kareshi. There are some more.
I've been wanting to watch Hana Yori Dango for a while and i cant seem to find it anywhere does anyone know where i can download episodes with english subs?
my list of things i want to watch i actually bigger than what i have seen, maybe i should make a list of that...

I'm pinkueiga. I am from Taiwan, but now living in England to study English. Mm, so I'm sixteen years old, and I am a mixed asian. Meaning, Taiwanese-Japanese. Anyway. I love manga, johnny's, and dorama. ♥

I used to be into dramas from my country, but then, I got into the PPStream phase and began watching Japanese dorama online, and I went crazy over them. The first Japanese dorama I watched was Stand Up!! on PPStream a few years back, and that's how the craze begun.

My favorite doramas have to be Nobuta wo Produce, ProDai, Yukan Club, Hana Yori Dango, Sushi Ouji!, Gokusen 1 & 2, Hana Kimi, Majo no Jouken, Kurosagi. The ones I'm currently watching are Zettai Kareshi, Ryokiteki na Kanojo, Gokusen 3, Sensei wa Erai!, My Boss My Hero, and Osen. Yes, I'm sort of obsessed.

Anyway! Feel free to add me. I love dorama way too much. Plus, I need friends I can 'fangirl' with.

Meep~ I recently switched journals so I'm in need of friends who share similar interests. ^^ Um, about aotaki ♥: I'm 17 years old and a self-confessed geek. Fandoms include various animanga, dorama and JE. Kukuku~ NEWS = #1.

I have been a fan of dorama for over a year now; I can't really remember where it started but it was something starring MatsuJun. Either way I fell pretty hard because dorama > American and British TV. Nowadays I forsake such overrated shows as LOST to spend my time pouring over dorama like the ones listed below. Note I'm not only a fan of Japanese dorama, but also Korean and Taiwanese.

Favourite J-dorama: Nobuta wo Produce, Proposal Daisakusen, Hana Yori Dango, Gokusen, Hana Kimi.
Current J-dorama: Kurosagi, Kinpachi Sensei 6, My Boss My Hero... and so on.

Other favourite dorama: It Started With a Kiss, Devil Beside You

There are plenty out there that I am intending to watch as soon as I catch up with some of my current fandoms and by all means feel free to give me some suggestions. Um but there's one thing: I tend to keep away from dorama with tragic endings. I get far too involved in the story. >_></div>

I like ARASHI, NEWS and KAT-TUN a little bit because of Kame, though I don't like Jin. I've watched all sorts of dramas...but probably not really that many. I only started on dramas end of last year, so it's been about a year? *thinks*

Idols

I heart Matsumoto Jun. He is so talented! I used to lurvvve Yamapi but I truly think that Matsujun deserves my love more than him. Sorry yamapi fans! I still like him a lot though. He's adorable. (=^-^=)

I discovered ARASHI through Matsujun, and I have to say they're my favourite band. I like the fact that each member has his own following, and Johnny doesn't fix his attention on just one person like he does Yamapi in NEWS. Sakurai Sho is pretty cool (his voice is deep!) and Nino is just too cute. Plus he acts really well.

Oh yeah, Toma is my #2. He is really good at acting! I loved his wordless speeches in Hana Kimi *squees again*. His facial expressions are priceless. I can't wait to watch him in Honey and Clover next year. ^^

I do reviews of dramas and stuff as I go along, and I think I may start on translations if I ever get the time... There's a Kimi wa Petto review on my LJ, feel free to go and read. (I realise this is edging towards self-promotion.) But frankly, I like discussing dramas with people and the more you talk to me the higher I get. :D

I've been in the community for a while but I thought I'd say hi to everyone. I'm an admin and owner of Toriyamaworld and I'm obsessed with certain Jdramas. (I'm starting to feel like this is intervention). I'm a little embarrassed posting here because I know some people from my forum who check this place regularly -___-;

My favorite Jdramas are:
IWGP, GTO, Hana Yori Dango (especially the HG parodies), Kisarazu cat's eye (although I have yet to see the movies and I have a mac so I can't piece together the files that were offered here a while ago...) TIGER AND DRAGON! (kisarazu and tiger and dragon have to be my all time favorites).

I also enjoy a lot of asian movies. I have a lot so if you guys want to chat about movies some time then just message me or something.

I haven't seen that many but I really like comedy. If you guys have any recommendations of really funny Jdrama that are comedy then please tell me (especially if they are as funny as T&D or Kisarazu...or even IWGP).
I hope to also broaden my viewing by watching more drama's that my favorite actors are in even if they aren't comedies.

The first JDrama that I have watched was Gokusen.
It left me with a good impression! That is why I went on watching Gokusen 2.
Recently, I have just finished Hana Kimi and it was awesome :D
I really don't know much about Jdrama's at the moment because I haven't been a fan ever since T_T

Hi, I'm Suzie. I live in Ontario, in Canada. *stops, checks profile to make sure it was updated * I should say I recently moved to Ontario, Canada. I haven't watched THAT many doramas yet, but I'm trying to get more of them to watch. I usually base the ones I'll watch on the actors I like, and sometimes a friend will burn some on a data DVD for me and say, "You might like this one!" So I give it a shot.

The very first one I saw was Gokusen. Fell for Matsumoto Jun so I then got HYD, and Gokusen 2, thinking Jun was in this one as well. But he wasn't, and that led me to Kamenashi Kazuya and Akanishi Jin. HYD also made me notice Oguri Shun and Matsuda Shota (But I haven't found any of Shota's yet). So here's a list of what I have seen and liked.

Konnichiwa minna-san ^___^ I'm 21 years old and from France!! I became addicted to jdoramas, JE business and hotties in general one year ago and since then, I've been watching many shows. Yesterdays, I noticed that too few of my LJ friends watch j-dorama and it started to bother me since I'm a real chatterbox so I do need to talk about my fandoms XD and I finally found this addme community for j-dorama! I hope I'll be able to find some buddies to share thoughts and to fangirl ^___^
