Hi, I am new. I love Asian guys, I guess you could say it was kind of an obsession and I really love the Smashing Pumpkins.

I used to just listen to thier music but after a while I wanted to find out abouit the band and lo and behold, James as there...smiling at me in all his beauty.

Um, just wondered if anyone knows what J-rock is and whether or not you think he looks like You from gacktJOB.

I decided to do an interests search, and I found this community ^^

When I first bought James Iha's cd, I was rather disappointed, but it has grown on me since then, and recently, it helped me through a very tough time. I was in a flame-war, and it seemed like the people involved in it were watching my every move, and didn't care how I felt. I listened to the cd, because I felt like I needed some comfort, as I was licking my wounds and feeling rejected(though I do have alot of friends).

I popped the cd into the player, and the moment "Be Strong Now" started playing, it felt like my troubles were lifted off of my shoulders, and my heart was slowly mending. I don't take rejection well, and some of the peoples' comments to me really hurt bad. But listening to Let It Come Down really helped me out of that depression. I'm listening to it right now, in fact.

I hope that someday I can meet James, and tell him in person how much his music helped me.

Anyways... excuse the long post XD

Around the same time that Iha joined APC, Corgan had announced the breakup of his second band, Zwan, which coincidentally featured original APC bassist Paz Lenchantin. APC toured briefly with the Pumpkins before their breakup in 2000.

"We haven't talked in quite a while, so I really don't know," he said of Corgan. "I wouldn't be against it, but I simply can't predict what will happen.' "

The guy obviously knows his rock singers well."

A Perfect Circle Rolls On
As we've reported earlier on MuchNews, the lineup of A Perfect Circle has been bolstered with two new all-star additions: Ex-Smashing Pumpkin James Iha joins on guitar, while Jeordie White - better known as Twiggy Ramirez of Marilyn Manson's band - will be stepping in on bass. The band announced today that they will test out the new line-up on the road with a two week tour of "very exclusive club dates" beginning on July 26. No exact locations for these dates have been announced yet. Fans will have to wait a little longer for the new album, "Thirteenth Step". The disc doesn't hit stores until mid-September. It is described in a press release as "a conceptual exploration of the darker side of the human psyche." The album is their first since their platinum-selling 2000 debut.

Question-I have all the CDs with James's stuff on them, but I want to put them all onto 1 CD...and my burner dosent rip. -_- Does anyone know where I can find a bunch of reasopnable quality Iha MP3s? Google has been less then helpful...
