i’ve been in fandom spaces or adjacent in some way since i was a preteen. i write fanfiction; i yearn for a lot of rapidly disappearing fandom culture and etiquette; i used to be involved in the tumblr rp scene.
this blog will feature nsfw, written and images.
i prefer to keep my spaces minor free, for both comfort and safety of all parties involved. the note about nsfw is a separate but related point, even if nsfw wasn’t present, i just really don’t have any desire to talk to teens because i’m literally thirty-four, and would rather just talk to adults. however i don’t really care if you’re here, so much as this is about direct interactions/talking. i can’t stop you from browsing my blog and I dont check every follower i have.

Okay, but the runs in her stockings! She starts out with beautiful, clearly new stockings, and then over the course of the video they get shredded, then there's a close up on a scrape on her leg that looks like it's from a wire - oh there's themes there!
i do think it’s funny when you’ve been into a thing long enough that you’ve done all the serious analysis you can do so now you’re mostly just thinking up looney tunes scenarios to put the characters in
looney tunes scenarios which are most importantly still impeccably in-character because of all the aforementioned serious analysis
*sees whatever the fandom is doing* there's a really good story happening on the actual show if you want to watch that instead

really difficult to convey to some people that you are absolutely allowed to dislike a character, but you should also pay attention to and understand why the POC character or woman is disproportionately targeted by fandom (for, often, innocuous reasons)
