I've heard horrible things about Jo Malfoy from Fred and George and Ron, and then I've also heard things about Pansey Parkinson from Hermione. They said that Jo and Pansey aren't that kind and to stay away from them. I'm starting to believe them.

Hmm yea… just talked to Draco. I told him I have not really made any friends yet. It’s harder for me to adapt to Hogwarts unlike in Beauxbatons. He told me that the friends I choose are very important and I should not go on gallivanting with the wrong sorts of people that could put me and my family to shame. I guess he is kind of right. I do need to pick the right friends. I just do not know who the right friends to pick are. Plus I’m kind of tired hanging out with Draco and those two dimwits Crabbe and Goyle. I asked him if he knew anyone who is nice and he said Pansy is. So maybe I will talk to her one day, and maybe we’ll hit it off. Who knows?

Reminder to all students

The forest in the grounds is out of bounds to all students

Magic is not permitted in the corridors between classes

Boys are not allowed in the girls rooms and vice versa

Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am and all students should be in their common rooms or dormitories at this time.

Welcome new teachers

Professor Grubby-Plank will be temporarily taking over the care of magical creatures lessons.

Professor Umbridge will be the new defense against the dark arts teacher.

Quidditch news

Quidditch season will start soon and we need to fill some positions.

Madame Prince would like to remind all students that the library is open at all time except for quiet hours. All students are welcome to do homework in the library and borrow any book for up to four weeks except for set books and reference books.

She would also like to remind us again that students may only go into the restricted book section only with a pass from a teacher.

House points

All teachers need to email me with the house points at the end of the week. Therefore, I can post them.
