"Alright, alright," she murmured, letting her kitten down.  "I'm trying to get you something to eat.  If you get us caught, no more snacks for you, missy."  The kitten turned and looked at Emma as if to say, 'Yeah, right.'  The young woman rolled her eyes and made her way towards the kitchens.  She'd only been there once and that had been with a couple of other Hufflepuffs on a dare.  Now, she felt so lost.  Sighing, she turned down a darker corridor and lit her wand silently.  

Suddenly, Izzie stopped and looked forward, mewling loudly.  "Shh!" Emma chastized.  "Come on, Izzie, be quiet."  Footsteps could be heard and Emma quickly put out her light, only to make Izzie make more noise.  Crossing her fingers, she prayed that who ever was coming wasn't a professor.  She definitely didn't want to get in trouble the first night back.
