1). My tap water has been coming out this milky, white colour the last few days. It's done this before in the past, and it always goes away after a couple minutes, but it's kind of eerie. So finally I Googled it:
And apparently it's just air build up or something in the pipes... which happens when it gets cold out! Who knew?
2). I finally figured out how to get all the sand and salt crud out of my welcome mat in the front hall today. I rolled it up, took it outside... and shook it out. WHY DID I NOT THINK UP THIS GENIUS SOLUTION BEFORE. It has only taken me... 22+ years of my life dealing with winter to come up with it. Sometimes I am thick.
3). I'm making good progress on my
help_haiti fic for 
shinyopals. Who knew writing a few thousand words of fluff could prove to be such a challenge? And no, it's not about Nine impregnating Rose with his nose. Stop thinking that.
