BERJAYA

[Text]

[Although every part of Yugi told him that he should leave the room he arrived in and search for everything he's missing, something made him grab the comm by the bed he found himself in and start fiddling with it. It's a good thing that he did, too, otherwise he'd still be completely clueless about his whereabouts. Now he was clueless about everything else. There were people he didn't know speaking on the comm, and most of their posts, the voiced ones at least, were in English.

It took him a few minutes, but after that, he was able to figure out a few things about the comm itself. Like the fact that he'd probably have to type out his request if he wanted to be understood. Yugi feels a little embarrassed, texting to a bunch of people he doesn't know, but he needs to ask a few questions.]

Am I right to assume that everyone can read what I'm texting now? In their own language?

[And since it'd be impolite to finish a text from a complete stranger:]

My name is Yugi Mutou. I just arrived here... somehow. Could anyone please tell me where I am? And... has anyone seen a gold pyramid shaped item hanging from a chain? If you could answer my questions, I'd really appreciate it!

[It'd be wise to stay and wait for a response, or to see if his questions went through at all, but Yugi's feeling a little antsy sitting here with no clue about his whereabouts. So, after he taps his foot a few times, he gets up and heads for the door. There's a moment of hesitation, but after that, he steels himself and opens the door... To an ordinary hallway. He looks both ways, then slowly steps out to the door opposite of him and lets out a sigh. Honestly... where is he? And where are his friends? This whole situation keeps looking grimmer by the second, and he looks down at the comm while his free hand grips at the empty air where his Millennium Puzzle used to be. If anything could answer his questions, it'd be this thing... Or a charitable person, if he happened to run into one.]
