Sorry if I'm being really slow with tags at the moment. Preparing for important exams + busy + ill + lazy :/ And will probably be the same for the next 3 weeks or so. Except hopefully without the ill. Or the lazy. But yes, if I'm horribly slow (like, more than usual) that is why, although I'll still be around.

It's difficult, knowing that you and Charley are stuck in my universe - if it still exists, which seems somehow unlikely now - and that I'm here stuck in yours, and on Charley's planet.

These are animals from Earth, called lizards. They look like the people in the cave paintings on the walls of the old caverns near ~~where our village used to be~~ home.
This made me think of you. It's ~~nice~~ ~~awful~~ strange how so many things here do, even though everything is so different.

Susan,
I don't really understand what Christmas is, or how humans get trees to grow indoors for it, but you seem to be interested in Earth customs so I decided to send you this. Although I don't really know how that works, either. The man in the shop gave me a small square of paper to stick in the corner (a 'stomp' I think he called it?) and told me to put it in the 'letterbox' outside, but the only thing I could find was some sort of red pillar, so I'll just leave it in the Tardis console room for you.
Is Christmas the reason there are suddenly lots of coloured lights and pictures of a fat man in a red suit everywhere? I thought I'd just about got used to humans...
