Hello, in one of my last issues of Retro News Flash, I covered the game Broken Altars and ran a short report on it. It´s a really great game, I really liked it. All the best from Magisthan´s Spielekiste. 🙂
:3 I guess it's not for me because even with the manual I remain sort of clueless. But! This smooth interface, the mouse controls, everything is just so perfect, I hopes it gets a huge audience!
Personally I'm still hoping for mouse controlled games that the C64 has never seen, or never seen "like that". Real time and round based strategy (with units that move, war scenarios). I'm also mighty impressed how the mouse cursor moves super smooth. Even with my Mouster.
It looks really cool. Have you considered making a turn-based game instead of time? I don't know how sensible that would be, but something like 10 moves and 5 pickaxe digs per day. Personally, I don't like being pressed for time in games :D
Speeding and powering up your tools and extending your campaign time are important parts of the game mechanics here. I have created turn based games in the past (Shallow Domains / Roguebot) and I will surely create more in the future. It is good to know that people like this genre.

Excellent game, I played for a long time and got hooked. I added it to my video along with other games released in June.

That makes sense. I'll have to plug in my mouse and try again. The games you mentioned are also very good.
I connected a mouse and now the game actually makes sense. Highly addictive gameplay and great graphics!
What an utterly cool concept! And such an original game on the C64 too. Thank you!

Oooh! Very impressive! 😍
Very nice game!
Cool! Mouse support is such a rarity, but now we have lots more potential users with the C64U and stuff like the Mouster.
Fred Fumble fumbles fragile, fractured fragments from forgotten, fallen altars.
In short: Nice game :-)
