A category for some of the non-knot, but ‘knotting-adjacent’ canvas work that our community have made. Canvaswork was practiced by many of the same nautical craftspersons who also used knots and knotwork extensively, so they are often seen in similar places. Some may argue it’s distinct from knot tying, but most canvas work incorporates decorative or practical knotwork, and there is limited content online explaining how to do it.
