The moon is so beautiful these days, that I really want to take a bottle of warm wine and my besties, and spend night in some nice place drinking, singing and dancing… But I have to work 😭
“I had time to run home and pack a bag and get to the beach where the boats were waiting,” said a member of Namaygoosisagagun First Nation (Collins). “We literally had minutes to get on the boats and flee before it took our town. “Once we left my house finally after packing what I could in a pack sack, the fire was right behind our place. We had to run to the beach and once we got there, it was only moments before the fire had jumped over the (train) track and was coming for us.”

29th June 2026. This year’s Strawberry Moon was extremely low in the sky, which made it look very large and bright. (A perfect photographic opportunity!)
On this day in 1969, the Apollo 11 mission landed on the Moon. 🌙 And back on Earth, an estimated 600 million people watched this historic moment live on television—roughly one-fifth of the world’s population at that time! The mission had three crew members: Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins. Collins piloted the craft that would return them to Earth, while Armstrong and Aldrin became the first two people ever to walk the Moon’s surface.

I love this technology. It lets me actually understand what is going on and see how one fencer is able to get through by taking advantage of their opponent’s large, open swings by tightly controlling how they move their own sword in smaller, more controlled circles.
