About Suzanne
Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici represents the First Congressional District of Oregon, which includes Washington, Tillamook, Clatsop, and Columbia counties and part of Multnomah County.
As a leader on the Education and Workforce Committee and Ranking Member of the Early Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary Education Subcommittee, Suzanne is working to give everyone a better future and the opportunity to succeed. She is focused on strengthening public education and growing the economy. Suzanne was honored to serve on the Select Committee on the Climate Crisis for four years, where she fought for comprehensive policies that will mitigate the effects of climate change, strengthen the economy, and protect our planet for future generations. She also serves as a member of the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology. Her background as a consumer protection attorney informs her work on strengthening consumer protections, which are especially important to seniors, service members, and the vulnerable.
