Good news first. Passed my third biology exam for having only studied that day! Yeah I found out at 1 Wed. that I had a test that night at 7. Frantically studying got me a C! wooooo ... other good news is I'm starting to see this girl. Yeah, we've known each other for awhile but then we started talking Friday night and hung out for a little bit Saturday and yeah, its really cool. I think we're going to go out again this week, I'm really excited.

Bad news is also slightly related to this new girl, but I actually don't want to elaborate here (no offense). Other bleh stuff is school, so much to do and I am just getting stressed out. Oh well, I can't control everything, and when I've tried it just hurts to fail. All I can do is keep trying and hope for the best. I can't forget to work hard and keep things straight, but I have to have fun too, or it all gets ugly.

Had a blast Saturday night with Jason, (Hawaiian) Ryan, Amber and Ryan. It was fun to meet the others and it was really nice of them to come to Boulder even though I hear the Boulder bar scene isn't as cool as LoDo and the mile high city. Jason we have to do it again before we can't.

I know Chance is big fan of I Heart Huckabees, now add me to the list. Very cool movie. And I caught the Episode III trailer at the beginning of the Incredibles, oh man I'm so excited!

Went to the International Mead Festival yesterday with guys from work, and John you'll laugh at this, and a buddy Nate got asked to cut off and then we just left and were sorta escorted out. It was at the Boulder Outlook hotel so it was funny. But wow, I really like mead. I'm more a fan of the dry mead then the sweeter ones, dry mead is closer to wine.

Beat Prince of Persia yesterday, that game is so much fun. Thanks John for hooking me up with a sweet time.

Like Clayton, I am still around, but I haven't checked lj in awhile. From the little I've read it looks like you all are chugging along at life, glad to hear it.

To use something I've learned from Sociology class, I'm experiencing heavy role strain. To each their own, but perhaps I've picked up too many things to do outside of class. I'm sort of working two jobs right now and a couple of other outside of school but related things are keeping me busy. But the coolest thing thats just started . . . is I met a girl. I didn't exactly just meet her, but we went on a date last night. And man was that awesome. Like John said (but probably not with these exact words), "when you're flying, you're flying". So I just had to post, cause I'm all excited. I don't know if things will get serious, I'm not looking for anything real serious, but it'd be cool to just hang out with someone like that.

My roomates and I launched a website a little while back. The main purpose is to share pics with friends but you should check out my half-assed main page that I don't think I'll update much. MonkeyImport.com

Things are going pretty good, staying real busy and not getting much done, but oh well. I'm excited about this Friday cause I turn 21. That night I'm going out with my folks and maybe my roomates right after, but after that we're having people over. Sooo . . . you all should come! I'd rather not post my address here, so email me or IM me or talk to Jason to get my address.

Oh and Tyler, I want to buy a CD, save me a copy.

Sweet, you guys rock.
Hey a lot of you might be looking forward to school starting, I'm not. Although my summer classes went well, I'm tired and I miss sleeping in. I've been picking up a lot of hours these two weeks between classes, the money will be great but it means I don't have as much time as I would like for getting other stuff done. I need to get books, and unpack my room, etc.

Now that I'm done ranting a bit (thanks for reading), onto other news . . . wait what other news, nothings really been going on. We moved into our new place completely on Tuesday. John came by and checked it out yesterday. He said that he wants to move out of Broomfield asap even if it means living on the streets of Boulder for awhile, isn't that right John? My roomates and I are celebrating the end of summer/beginning of school/end of summer school/new house/moving/friends/friday the 13th/beer gut this Friday night if anyone is interested, all are welcome, just comment if you want to go and I'll hook you up with details.

Interesting story about this last weekend: My parents are having their kitchen remodeled and a new front door put in at their house in Greeley and they were gone for the last week on a vacation cruise. Well I went to Greeley over the weekend cause a friend of mine got married on Saturday (so young these days, she is a day younger than me - I don't want to get married this young). I was hanging out late Friday night and when I chose to retire to my folks house I walk up to the front door to find that my key didn't work cause its a new lock on the front door. No windows were cracked enough to open and it was something like 5am so I didn't want to wake a friend to ask for a place to crash. Well, I thought, won't be so bad to sleep in my car. So I set up my sun visor (it was bright) around me in the front seat of my car parked in my parent's driveway and tried to get as comfortable as possible. It didn't work, it was too bright and I just wasn't tired enough. We have a 24hour Starbucks in Greeley so I thought, hey, I'll go hangout there. With nothing to really do there though, I first went to the store and bought a book. I hung out at Starbucks reading and drinking a Chai latte for a little over an hour till a bit after 8am and then went to Target ang bought a desk lamp and a floor lamp. My adventure, if you could call it that, wrapped up at the park where I read for a bit and then fell asleep and pulled the whole creepy guy sleeping in his car at the park. My parents got back from their trip later that afternoon and we had a good laugh.

-I have this killer craving for Chipotle, its been on my mind for the last week, I need to go.
-Hey heres an interesting link: Handwriting clock
-Sitting at a desk solving computer problems and then going to class and sitting while listening to a lecture in the fall will not be good.
-Mosquito bites itch.
-Anyone have a bad experience buying textbooks over the Internet?
-I have a work break in 30 minutes, woohoo.
-John is a sexy man, hey he's updating lj too!

I'm falling asleep at work right now, which is kind of interesting because there is a jackhammer going off in the distance. To explain, I'm tired, no I mean to explain the jackhammer: theres a sewage problem in the ITS building (where John is a proud new employee) and in the afternoons every day you can smell rank amounts of human excrement. It's not awesome.

The writing class I'm taking this term blows, but it is nice that its the only class I have. That and work have been keeping me busy.

My roommates are gone this week so its kinda nice, yet they left a messy kitchen for one guy to tackle alone, or else enjoy the smell of rotting crumbs for the week.

Speaking of my roommates, we rented Spider-Man 2 last week, and I have to say its a blast. It's so much fun to websling around the city of Manhattan. The missions aren't the greatest and . . . well just read the ign review of it, cause it nails it perfect. But webslinging is a lot of fun, if you know what I mean . . .

The other week I went with Dylan and Shaun to Shauns uncle's in Evergreen for night of poker, beer, and cigars. Shaun's uncle recently played in the World Series of Poker: Texas Hold'em and got in the top 15 percent. So he won at poker that night, but I got second place which is good enough to razz my roommates about. And since then I've been in a serious card mood, so if anyone wants to get a game going let me know.

Ok.

School starts tomorrow, which is both cool and not cool. I'm going up to Seattle next week to see my best friend graduate from college and it means missing a class - so I'm a little worried about having to make up that work. Although it's very worth it. And I started working a couple weeks ago and this week I'll be going in at 8am till 10, then class from 10 to 2, and then back to work until 5 or 6. So it'll be busy, but good money hopefully. I'm also borrowing the book for the class from someone so I don't have to go spend $80 dollars on the used one, damn college books.

So I hear I missed out on an a good Halo match? Yeah that weekend I was hoping to see a bunch of my high-school friends, but that didn't happen. But one fun thing happened Saturday night though. Got some kick ass huge vinyl signs, Toys"r"us, got milk?, 989 Sports, and Playstation 2! Yeah baby. We lifted them from corporate america, so I don't feel too bad.

This weekend I wanted to go camping but the weather was suppose to be bad. So instead my roommates and I and a few friends from Greeley just set up tent in our backyard. Friday night most everyone was so drunk we just passed out outside the tent on the grass. Most of us at least were in our sleeping bags though.

Other than reading some, cleaning a little, hanging out, and such I haven't been up to a lot. I've been spending money that I haven't earned yet though; credit cards are just too easy to use. Dan and I beat Resident Evil awhile back, but haven't started Zero. And John, we haven't watched those Eva DVD's yet, I'm keeping good care of them though, but let me know if you want them back soon.

Mayhap this weekend will include Chipotle and video games? I won't make promises on my being there, cause I've already let down with that (sorry J-man), but we'll see.

So far I've only gotten one grade so far, a B- for Algorithms, I'll gladly take that. What did you get John?

I've got an interview sometime this week for a job on campus for this summer and on. It'd be tech support, which will be ok. I did tech support for Prodigy Internet at this company up in Greeley several years ago and it really sucked because Prodigy had way too many restraints on handling the calls so it was difficult to help the customer. I think this campus position will be a lot better.

Got the Platinum Edition Gamecube last week and Dan and I have been playing Resident Evil a lot. He's back in Greeley so we won't be playing again till the end of the week. I have to say I am really impressed by this redone game. I know its a couple years old but its a lot of fun and the graphics are good. The story still has its weird stuff, but its fun. And I've started Metroid Prime also. So I've been getting a good fix of old Cube games lately. Any others you guys would recommend?

My roommates and I found a house for the fall. It's a really cool house, but a little farther away. We're pretty much all set to get it, just need to hear from the management company and then sign the lease.

This is an old site, but I stumbled upon it recently, and I don't know if John showed you guys:

scarlett johannson in ascii

Yeah baby I'm done baby yeahhh. All done with finals! And done with school for a whole month, wow. Although I hope I did good enough on my finals to raise my gpa, cause its been falling last couple semesters, blah. Now it's just time to find a job.

I'm excited, tomorrow I'm finally getting a cube, and then my friend Dan and I are going to play through the Res. Evils. And tonight is 24! Man I couldn't be anymore excited. Well, maybe a little.

I'm trying to decide what I want to do now. I just got done playing John's game, and left a novel for a comment. Go play it, its cool. Should I take a nap now? Or play Mafia? Or FFX-2?

Bye.

Yeah, I know I haven't done something for Photoshop 2.0, I just had an idea earlier tonight and I was too lazy to begin on it.

I bombed my Stats exam tonight, and it was so easy too. I guess I'm just stupid. I studied stuff that wasn't on it, how was I to know, and I didn't look at example problems enough. Blahhh. So I took the evening off after that and sat in front of the television. Played some X-2, then watched 6 episodes of Eva in a row with my friend Dan. Fucking crazy, but very interesting, had me googling for the last 45 mins.

Theres a kid in the CS class John and I are in who has been playing FF6 on his pc with an emulator, and it got me so excited I started too. I had a game started about a month or two ago that I hadn't gotten back into. Then I was just to Figaro Castle after Narshe in the beginning. For the last couple days I've gotten to right before Zozo, I remember hating Zozo soooo much - we'll see how it goes this time around. I'm also really excited about playing FF8 again with you folks soon, although damn school is rapping up and that means busy busy busy.

I really don't want to do anything right now, I mean this instant. I'm tired but I don't want to go to sleep, cause that means school tomorrow. It is Friday tomorrow, but with how the next couple weeks are going to be, Friday should be a homework day like every other day. Plus the weekend just goes by to fast and I don't get as much as I should done, and then its another week of classes. Notice how around this time everyone starts bitching about too much homework and studying. I'm caught. But it still sucks.

I've been checking out this blog site voxura for awhile now cause it's a girl who lives in Greeley, my almost home town. So it's interesting to hear her talking about driving fast down the Aims parking lot and doing some local Greeley things. My whole point in voicing this is how it seems that a lot of blog girls just bitch a lot on there updates. But even more so than that is the need to have cam pics of there neck down, showing cleavage. It seems all too common on many of them. I just found that interesting/annoying. Anyone who has read this far I suggest stopping. I am.

You all have seen how they've taken what we consumers have done for a couple centuries and combined them into a single item. I'm speaking specifically of pbj. They have pbj in a single jar! That's not news, but wouldn't it be weird if they combined oreos and milk . . . into a single item!? Now, they have oreo milkshakes, but thats not what I mean. It's hard to fathom, but fun to try.

Been relaxing this evening, I told myself earlier I was going to do homework tonight, cause I really need to, but I've barely touched it. I went with my roommate Dylan and he rented Simpsons Hit & Run, I hadn't seen it yet. I just watched him play for awhile while I enjoyed a nice cold MGD. Caught up on some lj news from ya all and thought I would do the same.
But nothing is going on . . . talk to you all later!

Listen, Saturday night at Johns turned out to be a lot of fun. Although I have forgotten much of FFVIII (thanks John!), it was great to get that somewhat fresh start. It'll be cool to see it all the way through since I haven't seen the ending.

Yesterday and into the early hours of this morning were spent increasing my mental capacity. To my not much surprise, I found that the error in my program was me being stupid, an often problem. My professor spent 20 minutes looking through it until he spotted what I was doing incorrectly and failed to find in an hour-and-a-half. Watched episodes 12-14 of Eva to take a break from programming. Holy good fuck. 13 and 14 got my mind racing so fast I had a hard time falling asleep and so I spent more late hours googling crazy old stuff.

I only play games that are popular.

Went to the Avs game tonight! Oh yeah. My dad had tickets and so I went with my friend Dan and my sister and brother-in-law. We had great seats: first level 23 rows up. They're the handicap seats, so didn't have to deal with moving for people and had plenty of leg room. Now I should start homework.
