The strategy game of logic and deduction that brings together a code maker and a code breaker, here in a gorgeous wooden version. Code Break gives each player the chance to outsmart their opponent. Enjoyed for decades, players are continually challenged to make and break codes. It's easy to learn but not easy to win. Your Goal as the Codemaker is to solve a mystery code so cunning that it'll keep your opponent guessing. There are 6 colors you can choose from to create a 5 color code. As the Codebreaker: You must break the secret code in the fewest number of guesses. You have up to 6 chances to match your opponent's code (guessing the correct colors in the correct order). A great strategy game.

    It's very hard to find a version of this game with 5 color choices so I was delighted to find this one. It is quite a bit smaller than I expected, but that hasn't been a problem for play and makes it easy to store. Everything fits nicely into the box which has a sliding lid. It would be nice if the pieces had more color on them and not just on the ends but otherwise it is great and everyone has enjoyed playing with it!

    If you are worried about not letting more plastic enter to your home, this is the perfect solution.

    Codebreaker is a great strategy game that will keep you entertained for some minutes (or even more if you're super obsessed about winning) . I wasn't expecting it to look as nice as it does. It's a beautiful wood piece, high quality, all the small pieces are easy to put and remove, and even though it has less chances to guess than the plastic version (6 vs 10), it only makes it more challenging.

    I bought this after playing with my daughter-in-law, and we love playing this game. It's a great exercise for the brain, using logic and deduction. My biggest complaint is that there are no where near enough of the colored pegs. I'm debating buying a second game, just to have enough pegs, but that is frustrating. Otherwise, it's a great game for working your brain.

    I really like the classic Mastermind game, but it's just more plastic waste that will end up in a landfill. I was so excited to find a wooden one, but one of the wood pieces on the end came off. And there aren't enough colored pegs to do complex designs. Sadly, would not recommend

    I like this because the pegs are easy to hold and place on the board. Other mastermind games’ pegs are too small for my fingers to handle(I am a woman and even my kid struggles to hold) I noticed a lot of people complaining that there weren’t enough pegs. So here is my suggestion. Unlike other mastermind games, don’t use the black and white pegs for creating the code . Black and white pegs are only for codemaker . Black and white are download sides if you haven’t noticed .

    I just like the way it gets my sons mind to think in a different way. I really love the game and it’s fun and perfect for kids. My son is 8 and he was able to get it, but we love mind games like this. I would recommend it

    I would not recommend this game. The colors first of all are hard to see and not the same as pictured. Also you only have 6 guesses which is not enough to figure out the colors.
