    Diabolical :)
Bought for my M.D. friend when he had surgery and was bored at home. He said it was diabolical since it had no straight edges. I signed his gift tag “Because you have a lot time on your HANDS!” I actually bought it for another M.D. friend that specializes in upper extremities for his birthday.

The assembly was a little challenging but moved along smoothly. What shocked me was the size. I guess I didn't look at that before I bought it. I expected a finished puzzle of 500 pieces to be 18x24. But this puzzle was over 20x36; it barely fit on my puzzle table. It would look great as wall art. I glued the front and back and its beautiful.

Got this for my son -in-law who is a podiatrist and puzzle enthusiast. Boy, was he challenged due to the complex nature of the shape. It’s not round and all white, but it sure has taken awhile to put together. I love to watch him and his wife challenged by it!

I liked that the puzzle had beautiful colors, realistic anatomy and very well constructed. The shape of the puzzle

was the shape of the hand, foot and heart and that made it difficult to put together in the allotted time for class.

I used it as a teaching tool for my cosmetology students. May be if the pieces were larger, it would have worked better for us. Great tool!

I am an anatomy teacher, and I get through the long Midwest winters by doing puzzles. So, my kids have taken to gifting me with Livingston anatomy puzzles every holiday. I have the various puzzles that come together to form the body, the pregnant woman, eyeball, hands, feet and now this heart. I hang them in my classroom when I complete them. The pieces are thick and unique shapes, so they're really fun to assemble. My only issue is that the last 3 puzzles have arrived with several warped or shredding pieces that don't fit well together, and create bumps. I still recommend it though, because they are overall great quality. I am really hoping they make more organ puzzles, because I've run out of them!

    Product Description

Assemble the human eye at over 2000% magnification! Each piece is custom cut, making for a unique puzzle to put together. Featuring accurate medical science and human anatomy, this puzzle helps highlight the complexities of our bodies and what makes us up. In this volume, you’ll assemble an accurate cross-cut section of the eye that gives you a detailed interior view from the lateral rectus muscle to the cornea. Focusing on our windows to the world, this puzzle illuminates the many specialized parts that empower us to see. Look through the lens that, along with the cornea, allows light into the eye and focuses its rays onto the retina, a nerve layer that contains photosensitive cells. Observe the iris and pupil that act like a camera’s diaphragm and aperture to adjust to our surroundings and control the amount of light we take in. Marvel at the macula that gives detailed clarity to our sight. Find the optical nerve, the sum of more than a million fibers that transmit impulses from the retina to the visual cortex. Track the extraocular muscles that rotate our eyes and expand our field of vision. When finished assembling these exquisite pieces, you will be in awe of your accomplishment and your body’s complexity.
