This is the second digital picture frame I bought for my parents. I love this one because the frame is bigger than the last one and the pictures are bright, colorful and clear. It is my mom and dad’s favorite thing to watch in their house. They are in their 80s. I put it on a stool below the TV and they are constantly making comments about the pictures as they come up. They absolutely love it! Plus, it is super easy to put the pictures on. You just click on them in your photos and push add and on the frame they go very quickly. Also, other people can add pictures just as easy.

Sturdy, well made frame with very attractive matt. Screen resolution is very nice and love all the features this frame has. By far the best is the app and user interface. So easy to use and add pictures. Love that you can invite others to enjoy your frame and add to it (with your permission!). Couldn't be happier.

Great frame and so easy to upload pictures right from the gallery of your phone. Nice size to fit on your counter. Lots of easy to use features. I'm very happy with it.

Stop your search --- this is the best digital picture frame. Dead simple to use. The matte screen is very low glare with minimal reflections, and the picture quality is impressive.

--Incredibly easy to setup and add photos to from the app no matter where you are. This feature is by far the most appealing aspect of this product.

--The app will automatically re-orient photos to ensure they are displayed correctly which is not something every digital photo display does. Greatly appreciated.

--The photos do take time (sometimes a few days) to upload to their cloud when you submit them. Recommend uploading a high volume of photos of videos all at once when you do upload as they seem to show up faster for some reason, at least in my experience.

--The physical frame looks great and is clearly high quality and very sturdy.

Overall I highly recommend this product. Best digital photo display i have owned to date.

The hardware is outstanding, meriting 5 stars. The frame is built like a tank and the image quality is superb. Unfortunately, as good as is the hardware, that is how bad is the software. It merits 1 star. Almost everything needs to be accomplished through the app (iOS in my case). My photos reside on my computer and are managed using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. A recent (apparently) capability allows photos to be uploaded through Aura’s website. Uploading went smoothly. However, it is a one trick pony – that is all it does. Everything needs to be managed though the iOS app. When you have a lot of photos (>13K in my case), management is almost impossible (as noted by others). For me, the easiest thing is to do is to continue managing the photos on my computer and delete all photos in the cloud and re-upload all photos each time I make changes. (It works for me because I have unlimited data and fast upload speeds.) A critical flaw in the web upload is, unlike the app, you do not have the option to leave the black bars on the photo. Images are zoomed to fill the screen. I have my frame set up as landscape. That means that all of my portrait aspect ratio photos are cropped to fill the screen. I was able to work around this by adding black bars to ensure all images uploaded had a 4:3 aspect ratio. Fortunately, this is relatively easy using Photoshop, but time-consuming, nevertheless. Hopefully the software will be improved. At the price point of this product, it is shameful.

I read hundreds of reviews on many of these WiFi picture frames and while all of them had cons, I went with the 12' Aura.

So far I'm not disappointed.

Setup was fast and easy.

I transferred photos from my Android phone via text, email and thru the Aura app. All seamless no problems at all.

I was surprised the unit I recd has a power on/off button so the review complaints of not having this feature appear to have been addressed.

I was concerned about photo positioning but the Aura App allows you to quickly edit and test show on the frame immediatley. That's a great bonus versus having to edit then upload to test.

I also read complaints about the Aura requiring constant WIFI else there's trouble. I have not experienced anything like this. My in home wifi has mesh devices for coverage so my network is subject to peaks and valleys in bandwidth but I experienced no connectivity troubles so far.

One comment suggested that your network could slow down as the SD device is constantly download large image/video filed. But I believe once you upload the file and it gets moved to the frame there is some on board memory based on watching a video loads the first time it takes about 10 seconds but subsequent plays is immediate.

Last and most important is the display: it is a vibrant, colorful display that actually brings pictures to life. It is very eye-catching while we're eating dinner and the picture changes. Simply a beautiful display.

The Auto on/off function works well as the unit turned off at night and on in the morning daylight.

It hasn't been a full week since I recd but so for the Honeymoon phase with this product has been great.

I will update if any problems surface so if I don't update this review all continued well.

Got this for my work, this digital frame is AMAZING!!! So worth the investment and really considering adding a second one for my home. Very happy with this purchase! Resolution is outstanding as well!

This is a brilliant piece of kit. The key bits for me are:

The ability for family and friends to add photos, no matter where they are.

The clarity and resolution of the pictures. Even older pics are rendered well

The neat way Aura have thought about you can gift it to someone but still be able to preload photos onto it by scanning a QR code without breaking the packaging seal ( just the outer sleeve).

The ability to control the frame remotely and fine tune the slideshow by resizing pics, changing timings, omit them without deleting.

A well thought through product.

Presents for two parts of my family. We have an older version, but this one is bigger and better.

I bought two of these this Christmas. Both were easy to setup and easy to invite other people to share photos. Images are crystal clear.

Ability to manage remotely is a dream.
