I've been playing free RPG Maker games (non RTP especially) because I also make them. And I have to say, this one is a very cute little one. Not too complex, not too simple, art is charming, meta story starts a little slow but grew on me, I love bonus rooms. I must say I did cheat a little, I'm very thankful for the bonus hints. I did get a few of those on my own, but it helped in getting the rest. I love the blue too.

This is a very good first project. Mine was RTP and improvised comedy with just a few CGs, this one must have taken a lot more effort. And speaking of CGs, I'm a fan of your CGs more than your sprites, your style is very beautiful. I hope you make more games! I personally really like games about exploration and reading stories (gameplay who?), and I'm very glad this isn't a horror game (I'm too weak for that). It has a few slightly creepy moments, but nothing sudden, nothing loud. Oh and the music is original? That's impressive! I liked it a lot, I also made my own music for my last game (while suffering) but I'm not that good.

If I have to offer a little criticism: I think you should find a way to include the font inside the game. I don't use VX Ace so I can't tell you the method, but I know it's possible (SLARPG does it). If that's not possible, I think adding a big, non-missable warning inside the game, at the beginning, would be better than in the game description or a readme file. I know this is absolutely my fault, lol, since I downloaded the game, forgot about whatever was written in this itch page and played it days later, but I think you could fool-proof it a little more. As I can see, someone in the comments below also had this problem, haha.

Other than that, I think sprites would benefit from bobbing up and down a pixel when they walk. But I don't think I would have changed anything else.

By the way, in my silly RTP game, my protagonist is called Mary Claire (or Mari Carmen in the original version) because she's the MC. So "who would name their Main Character that?" Me. And you. 🤝

This is too long already, sorry for the wall of text. In summary: nice. Will wait for more. Cheers

(also has no commentary. tho this v 1.01, and I just noticed it got updated.)

Still, a very wonderful game and experience as well. Likely one of the best ones I played this year. All of the art you created (including the characters, the stories, music, extras, everything) is such a wonderfully crafted things to convey the struggle as a creator. And I can relate a lot to this game. I think most have been said at this point.

Again, thank you so much!

i didn't read the summary at all before playing because i saw the thumbnail & was immediately convinced to play & i'm really glad i did! thank you for making this - it's absolutely gorgeous.

for people who may be like me (i.e., people who sometimes don't read, oops), if you don't install the font before playing the text in the game will be displayed with a default font. definitely install the font in the folder like the game summary says above!!

As someone who (co-)wrote stories in the past this game resonated deeply with me. It's been 15 years since I've written anything about them or made any progress to their stories and I will likely never touch them again, yet the characters still follow me (even if some of them are very vague now like that rose story you had) in my heart obviously but also sometimes on games such as Tomodachi Life. To me, your game felt like a love letter to all kinds of story writers out there who really care about their "babies".

May I also add that your art is breathtaking, the way you draw hair is so beautiful especially! And that starry world...!

One last thing, was [MC] able to keep her promise? Anyway, thank you for making this game!
