Cast of Characters in my world

apisanthrop (Lynn): My best friend. He's been my rock and my support when I needed him. We spend a lot of time together and he helps keep me on track. He was an amazing support during Blogathon '07 and stayed up with me plus he supported me through NaNoWriMo '07 & '08 by being my sounding board and reading along as I wrote and asking questions to spur my muse to action at times. Edit: March 01, 2008 Boyfriend! (Yeah, he's crazier than I thought if he's willing to date me.) End of March and we were both in a bad car accident that landed me in the hospital for a few days where he stayed by my side no matter what. Because of that I lost my job and ended up moving down to Houston. On November 13th, 2008 he asked me to marry him, I said yes. The date is set for September 7th, 2009, our 2 year anniversary of meeting face to face. ETA: Sept 7, 2009 Husband!!!!

Nox: My little black mutt, best friend, and familiar. Her favorite activities are sleeping, being loved and petted, eating, sleeping, being with Mommy, and eating. There's a picture of her here. In April 2007 she tore her ACL and had to have surgery but she's made a complete recovery.

Mr. Boyfriend: May 8, 2009 He's adorable and I love him and we're all good. ETA:  April 28, 2011: He has an LJ account, dragons_grin.

sorchawench : February 24, 2011. We kinda fell into a relationship. Mutual crushing and lots of flirting led us to explore these feelings, with the approval of all other involved parties.

Sir: 12-25-06 A very wonderful friend whom I chat with online. He's a bit of a dom, I'm a bit of a sub, he's a geek and we're both good for the other's ego. ETA: I guess this is done too, sometime in March of 2007, either drifted apart or I wasn't what he wanted. Such is life. He's still a friend and I still care for him. I wish him the best in his path through life. ETA1: Or not, just a bit of life getting in the way. He'll always be counted as one of my best friends. He's been very integral in me seeing myself as worthy of love and attractive to look at. ETA2: As of October 2008 I get to officially announce that fragbert is my Sir. He's still an emotional rock for me and one of my best friends.

Miss Kid / lee_hawk : apisanthrop 's daughter. I didn't want kids so this has been a learning experience for all three of us. She's a good kid we just have to find how we work together the best.


Goddess: My desktop computer, she's my repository for all my music and pictures as well as back up copies of my writing. Runs Windows XP.

Brigid's Tablet: My laptop, she goes most everywhere with me. Runs Windows Vista. Dead: Feb 14, 2010

Kaylee: Same laptop, new hard drive thus new name. Still runs Windows Vista. Semi retired: April 3, 2011. Backup space and side account for Miss Kid to have net access.

Dream: My gaming computer for City of Heroes/Villains. Runs Windows XP.

Alice: New (to me) laptop, my new go everywhere and keep me company computer. Runs Windows 7

Quicksilver: My car, 2001 Silver Plymouth Neon, which I drive like a sports car.

Close Friends:

lackland : My ex-husband. Married May 19, 2001, divorce final July 13, 2007, he still lives with me until we can get other things worked out; sometimes we're okay, sometimes we're not. ETA: Now that we no longer live together and have some space we're much better friends than we were husband and wife. He's a great guy, just not a great husband for me. I'm very glad he and his girl friend are among my friends.

elfwench : My Morgie, my Elfie Girl. *grin* One of the sweetest ladies I know, she's shared tears and laughter with me through a long stretch of rough times for the both of us. Her strength and resilience constantly awes me. She is proof positive that iron will can come in a beautiful package.


Here's the rest of the cast:

wiccachild : My brother. He's a goofball at times but I still love him. Moved out to his gf's place on 01-02-07 but was living with us for a time. Oct 07-June 09 somewhat living here again, mostly just storing his things here.

13jamie : Roommate, Moved out Aug./Sept. '07, one time owner of Gracie (cat) until she was given away.

L: lackland 's girlfriend and roommate; it's not an easy relationship we all have here in the same house. Edit: Feb 08, Ex gf and ex roommate.

Grandad: My maternal great grandfather, he raised me. He lived about 2 minutes away from me when I was in Irving and I tend to worry about him a lot since he lives alone and he's around 80 now. He was my father figure growing up and he's the one I always wanted to get approval from. Passed Away May 22, 2010

Nanny: My maternal great grandmother, she raised me also. She passed away May 13th 2003. She was my mother figure and the one I bonded to out of the hospital. I always knew that I could talk to Nanny about anything and I really miss her; I still talk to her though, almost everyday.

mamawolf_1 : My maternal grandmother, also known as Grandma, she lived with us for about a year, when she moved out Jamie moved in. She lived with Grandad for a bit but decided that she didn't like him wanting to know where she was. She now lives with her son and his wife eddies4ever

Mom1: My birth mother. We didn't really talk a lot while I was growing up. She is currently a prisoner at Carswell and being held there on a false charge. Her current release date is 2012 unless she gets parole, (not currently offered to federal prisoners), and then she would be out in 2008. [Time out has been tentatively changed to Aug 2011, so she believes] We have began getting to know each other better though so that's a plus though I doubt that we'll ever be a close mother/daughter team. It's a bit of a strained relationship since we lack that mom/daughter bond and she does not always see me a person in my own right.

Then there's the Out of State cast:

Dad: This should be fairly self explanatory. I didn't know him while I was growing up for various reasons. I first began really talking with him and understanding more of who I was in May 2000 when he came down for my graduation. I went with him back to his home and met his wife and my sisters. That was a very interesting three weeks. For the first time in years things were falling into place and I was understanding more of who I was. I began feeling a bit more stable and self understood.

Mom2: This is Dad's current wife. I was determined to like her when I went to live with them for a while since I had never really met her. Determination can only take you so far though.


Non Family:

D: This is my ex. We were engaged for three years and suffice to say that it was a really bad relationship but I'll go into that later.

Florida Boy: My Florida sweetie, also known as FL Boy. Relationship over as of 12-01-06, he's gone to a monogamous relationship with his girlfriend in California. I wish him the best.

feralwolf01 : One time sub of lackland and my girlfriend, we shared her love. As of 11-15-06 she's just a friend, more of his than mine.

Local Boy: My boyfriend, (also commonly referred to as The Boy or DFW Boy) I talk about him a lot and he's always on my mind. Anniversary date: April 1st, 2006, no, we're not a joke, though there's always plenty of laughs. He works, a lot, as in 24 hours, 365 days a year. I rarely see him. This is just a tough time we will have to make it through together. ETA Sept 4, 2009. I got tired of never being important and always being last, so I ended the relationship. Honestly I believe it was over long ago but I kept hoping, apparently I was more of a joke to him than I thought. Oh well, I still wish the_elfster / tommyelf  the best and I hope he finds whatever it is that he's looking for. ETA: Mr. E: November 27, 2010 He's new and yet he's not, but it's a new beginning. I referred to him a bit as New Guy until we settled on a name and status in the relationship area. ETA: June 2011 Or not .. he's still under the impression that relationship means 0 communication, to the point where I would have been left without a place to stay after a 5 hour drive. Moving on.
