“Without Black, no colour has any depth.” -Amy Grant
This weekend over on Weekly Prompts, the site I share with my partner GC, the Weekend Challenge is our June colour challenge (slightly early), and the colour we chose is Obsidian!

The moment I saw this colour I knew I could have a little bit of fun and play around with a few plants and flowers, and although Black is the most common colour of Obsidian, it can also be brown, tan, or green.
Rarely, obsidian can be blue, red, orange, or yellow. The hues are thought to be caused mainly by trace elements or inclusions.

Have I got it almost right, or have I created one or two new hues?
