Cleaner's Recruitment Post
Kamibana is a high-quality scanlation group and we strive to meet that standard with each release. The most obvious aspect of HQ are well-cleaned pages.
As such, we have strict standards for cleaning. If we accept you as a cleaner, you may not actually get to work on a release for a while -- until we're certain you can meet that standard. But we're happy to help guide you there.
Cleaned images meet these standards:
- straightened;
- cropped;
- leveled and spot-checked: blacks are black, whites are white, lines are not pixelated;
- Japanese text is removed and parts of the image are redrawn if necessary;
- gutter shadows are removed: they are cleaned/recovered, not just cropped;
- images are 1200px high.
To apply to be a cleaner with us:
Step #1: Please take the two images below and clean both of them. Refer to the list above. Save as the cleaned images as png. Upload your images to a site that won't resize them.

If we reject your application and you'd like to know more about how you could improve, please ask and we'll be happy to go over it more with you.
