The quality of the blocks is excellent. We just got it and are excited to play with it. However, I had not realized that there are only 32 blocks when the varnmala has 36 akshars in the vyanjan. Disappointed about this. We received two ra akshar.

    These are great blocks in Hindi. Wish they had other Indian language alphabets like Gujarati, Kannada, Tamil, etc. Love that it's Amazon Prime and was delivered so quickly. Our 3 year old and 9 month old love playing with the blocks.

    They're very well made and beautiful. My only complaint is that I wish there were more representative of the way Hindi is written so it was easier to practice spelling words. I know every combination would be a very large number of blocks. But could we at least have gotten a block for the vowels as they're written in words and not just in their singular form? The most commonly written consonant combinations would have been nice too. I'd be thrilled if these were available as an add on set. I love that this set did include the numbers and basic math symbols.

    Uncle Goose blocks are THE BEST. They are so creative and feel so nice in your hand. Good old-fashioned fun! I'm trying to stop myself from buying ALL of them. Seriously. I have a problem. My in-laws were stoked to play with the Hindi blocks! My sister in-law wanted a set right away when she saw them.

    The blocks feel nice, and you are able to line them up if you want to list out the vowels or numbers, but they provide you with only 32 blocks, and Hindi has 36 consonants. Toy blocks let you list all the ABCs out in order, why not do so here and add the extra 4? Very odd. The blocks look good. The consonants are all there but they just didn't add enough. Especially when you consider how pricey they are.
