Biography

According to The Peerage website, Edward Spring was born on 19 April 1732, the son of Catherine Spring and Francis Spring.[1]

Wikipedia states that Edward was educated at Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland.[2]

According to Wikipedia, he was a lawyer and a politician, and was the Member of Parliament for Askeaton in the Irish House of Commons from 1768 to 1776.[2] Wikipedia states that he was created Baron Askeaton in the Peerage of Ireland on 18 March 1776.[2]

The Peerage website states that Edward was married to Mary Tracy,[1] and their children were:[1]

  • Elizabeth Spring
  • George Spring
  • Matilda Spring (1775–1779)
  • Edward Spring (1769–1792)

The Peerage website states that Edward died on 18 November 1791 at his home in Foynes, Ireland.[1] According to Wikipedia, his death was due to influenza.[2]
