Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.
Andriy Greczylo
Andriy Grechylo (Ukrainian: Андрій Богданович Ґречило, Andriy Bohdanovych Grechylo / Greczylo), is an Ukrainian historian, heraldist and vexillologist. During his career he has published several books and designed hundreds of coats of arms, flags, banners and seals for over 1000 different municipalities and institutions, bishops, eparchies etc.
Andriy Grechylo was born in November 19, 1963 in Lviv, Ukraine. He studied architecture at the Lviv Polytechnic. Since 1990, he was a research worker (scholar) of the Hrushevskyi Institute of Ukrainian Archeography and Source Studies, National Academy of Science of Ukraine.
Grechylo received his PhD in historical science in 1996 and defended a dissertation titled "Ukrainian Municipal Heraldry: Tendencies of Evolution". In 2012, he defended a dissertation titled "Ukrainian Territorial Heraldry" and received his DSc.
In 1990, he has founded the Ukrayinske Heraldychne Tovarystvo (Ukrainian Heraldry Society) – since 1995 a member of FIAV (Federation internationale des associations vexillologiques) and CIGH (Confédération Internationale de Généalogie et d’Héraldique).
Andriy Grechylo is an academician of the Académie Internationale d'Héraldique (International Academy of Heraldry) and president of UHT (Ukrainian Heraldry Society).
Since 1993, he is an editor of the bulletin Znak (The Sign). He also is an editor of the yearly journal Genealogichni zapysky (Genealogical Notes). Grechylo is co-author of the Small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine. He has also designed flags and arms for provinces, districts, cities, towns, villages, universities, organisations, ecclesiastical provinces and for individuals. Although he is known mainly for his expertise in heraldry and vexillology.
In 1992-2011 and since 2015, Andriy Grechylo is a member of the Presidential Commission of the State Awards and Heraldry. In 2009, he was honoured with the Order of Merit 3rd Class.

Mykola Bytynsky together with Ignat Bilyi worked out projects of the state emblem and flag of Сossackia. The flag was designed based on the most popular colors of separate lands, so it was a tricolor with blue, crimson and yellow stripes. The large state emblem of Cossackia included the next symbols: in the main shield were placed traditional Cossack attributes (mace and two bunchuks), and around were 7 shields with emblems of the main Cossack regions: Don, Kuban, Terek, Yaik, Astrakhan, Orenburg and Kalmykia. Bytynsky also worked on projects for the coats of arms of the Free Cossacks of Siberia, Semirechye, Transbaikalia, the Ussuri, and other lands up to the Pacific Ocean. But they did not receive support and did not enter the large coat of arms. A monochrome postcard with the coat of arms of the Cossackia was published in Prague. In addition to graphic versions, Bytynsky also made a color album of symbols of the Cossack lands.
The question of creating the anthem of the future state was also raised. Bytynsky actively worked on the design of the magazine "Free Cossacks" and other publications, designed covers, drew screensavers, maps, developed designs of badges and emblems. The gained experience became a precondition for Bytynsky's further work on the projects of state symbols of Ukraine.

Andriy GRECHYLO, PhD hab. (History), FROM THE HISTORY OF THE TRUSKAVETS SYMBOLS In the article the development of town Truskavets symbols since the 18 th c. is analyzed. Then rural communities in Galicia received right to use seals with own symbols. The oldest seal of truskavets discovered on a 1788 document as well as of the known seals of the 19th-beginning of the 20 th cc. During the Soviet period Truskavets became a town and in 1970 was approved the first coat of arms. After the collapse of the Soviet Union and the restoration of the statehood of Ukraine the town council of Truskavets adopted new coat of arms according the tradition from the old seals. The publication is accompanied by illustrations and additions of the mail documents about official adoption of municipal symbols.
