A sazón del crecimiento de la derecha radical contemporánea en Europa en este artículo se busca realizar un análisis profundo y contextualizado de una de las estructuraciones ideológicas más relevantes de la actualidad, la visión “neopagana” postulada por el filósofo francés y fundador de la Nouvelle Droite, Alain de Benoist.  Tras exponer la imbricación teórica del paganismo con la articulación de la cosmovisión de la derecha radical post Segunda Guerra Mundial, se procede a realizar un análisis de las principales tesis defendidas en la articulación del paganismo. En este sentido, se presta especial atención no sólo a la exposición de las tesis, sino también a la justificación y el hilo de pensamiento que lleva a Alain de Benoist a sus conclusiones. Several interesting and significant philosophical, political and other possibilities abound in Derrida’s linguistic materialism, but the objectives of my paper are to describe the general tenets of Derridean linguistic materialism, and to deploy it in the context of Khasi oral tradition in order to lay bare the sensory origin of the sign. I therefore argue, firstly, that Derrida’s oeuvre espouses a nuanced case of linguistic materialism of the sensible-physical trace, which in its materiality is constantly in the process of standing for or representing another sign/signs through the basic process of mediation that he calls écriture—‘writing’ in a more originary sense. Meaning is inscribed in the materiality of the sensible world, is manifested in the material trace of signifiers and is not mediated through the transcendental signified or metaphysical idea. The age of the Anthropocene is arguably upon us. Heidegger’s famous discussion of technology helps us understand the attitude that put us in this crisis. Although Sartre’s work in the Critique of Dialectical Reason seems to be distinct from Heidegger’s, I show how his concern with the socially alienating phenomenon of seriality explains why this technological attitude is so persistent. And by studying Heidegger and Sartre together, we get a better sense of how our environmental destitution is correlated to a social-political one. Relational respect is offered as an existential norm that helps us move beyond our violent tendency to objectify beings, both human and other than human.

Homem da ciência, o autor de Pensamentos procurou dar um sentido religioso às doenças que o acometiam, contudo, mais do que ligar-se a uma transcendência que o auxiliasse a superar as dores sem desespero e atribuição da culpa a Deus, Pascal se debruçou sobre a condição humana, pensando o ser humano como um ser de mistério, egoísta e, acima de tudo, insuficiente. Não se trata de pensar se o filósofo francês buscou a religião por conta da doença ou se pensou de determinada maneira por conta dela, pois, ele foi além disso, visto que a condição humana, em seus inúmeros vieses, norteou suas reflexões traduzindo-se numa antropologia que compreende o ser humano como contingente e, em sua insuficiência, passível de dor e sofrimento, o que pode fundamentar uma filosofia da saúde capaz de oferecer referenciais para a reflexão no campo das ciências, do cuidado e da assistência em saúde.

El subgénero de la novela de artista fue definido en 1922 por Herbert Marcuse como una especialización de la novela moderna que trata de responder al cuestionamiento acerca del papel social del arte y de los artistas. El presente trabajo muestra la productividad de la novela de artista como perspectiva de lectura, a través de la reinterpretación de dos novelas del autor uruguayo Carlos Reyles: El extraño (1897) y La raza de Caín (1900). Frente a la recepción consagrada de La raza de Caín como rechazo de los postulados filosóficos y estéticos contenidos en El extraño, la perspectiva de la novela de artista permite poner de manifiesto hasta qué punto el texto de 1900 es en realidad la culminación del proyecto literario iniciado por Reyles en 1897.

Peyami Safa’nın yaşamı boyunca Friedrich Nietzsche’nin felsefesini yorumlamalarının bir soykütüğünü çıkaran bu çalışma, Nietzsche’nin düşüncelerinin Safa’nın siyasal-ahlâki düşüncesi üzerindeki etkisini vurgulamaktadır. İkinci Dünya Savaşı sırasında Nietzsche’nin efendi ve köle ahlâkları arasındaki ayrımını milliyetçi bir güç söylemi geliştirmek üzere kullandığı kısa bir dönem dışında Safa, “anarşik bir ferdiyetçilik” ve “nihilist bir ahlâksızlık” yaymakla suçladığı Nietzsche’nin felsefesine hararetle muhalefet etmişti. Nietzsche’nin nihilist bir çağın gelişine yönelik öngörüsüne meydan okuyarak cemiyetçi ve manevi değerlerin yeniden canlanacağını iddia etmişti. Aynı zamanda Nietzsche’nin perspektifçiliğinden ve istenççiliğinden Türkiye’nin Batılılaşmasının muhafazakâr bir eleştirisini geliştirmek üzere faydalanmıştı. Nietzsche’nin düşüncelerini liberal ve Marksist beynelmilelcilik tasarılarına karşı çıkmak ve Türkiye’ye özgü bir modernleşme süreci tahayyül etmek için kullanmıştı. Bu çalışma, Nietzsche’nin ahlâki idealleri yapıbozuma uğratma yöntemini takip ederek Safa’yı “ruh ve beden” ikiliği üzerinden “Doğu ve Batı” karşıtlığını yeniden oluşturmuş “siyasal bir ahlâkçı” olarak tanımlamakta, Safa’nın “karşıt değerler” arasında bir sentez oluşturma arayışının ahlâk ve medeniyet hakkında bütüncül bir kavrayışa sahip olmamasından ötürü başarısız olmaya mahkûm olduğu iddia edilmektedir.

En el presente articulo se intenta un acercamiento a la dilucidacion de lo tragico en las filosofias de Nietzsche y Unamuno, bajo la conviccion de que existe una coincidencia entre ambas que va mas alla del alcance nominal del nombre «tragedia». El elemento comun estara dado en la experiencia del dolor humano que ambos autores reconocen como originaria; esta sera entendida como una tension contradictoria entre la exigencia de infinitud y superacion continua a la que se deben y a la que aspiran los hombres tragicos y, en contraste, los limites que comporta su existencia individual y finita.

Writing this article aims to provide a solution to the problem of Christian adolescents researched by the Bilangan Research Center, which states that the most useful and interesting church activities according to Christian youth who come regularly to church are as many as 59.7% of respondents said that the Sunday sermon is the most important thing. most useful and attractive for young people to come to church. The method used in this research is literature study. In this case the church must develop a creative preaching role in accordance with the needs of Christian youth, so that Christian youth can have interest in church. El texto hace una revisión crítica de los apartados del libro Perspectivas wittgensteinianas. Lenguaje significado y acción (2021), a partir de la visión de la filosofía presente en las investigaciones de Ludwig Wittgenstein, para quien todo intento de teorización constituye un intento inútil de salir de un atolladero. Por ende, la responsabilidad de la filosofía radica en la aclaración, mediante el análisis del lenguaje, de las quimeras conceptuales que ella misma ha creado. Se abordan los temas de la inviabilidad de la teoría del color en términos lógicos, el carácter no epistémico de las proposiciones gozne y de las creencias religiosas, la objetividad como criterio dentro de un sistema de reglas, la vaguedad del lenguaje y el giro pragmático. 

Neste ensaio, temos como propósito realizar uma terapia de dispersão espectral do noturno a partir do filme War Requiem, do diretor britânico Derek Jarman, tendo como principal referência o estilo terapêutico de filosofar acionado por Ludwig Wittgenstein em suas Investigações Filosóficas. Uma terapia de dispersão espectral do noturno - tal como a temos denominado e praticado a partir de outras temáticas no campo dos Estudos Literários – parte de efeitos de sentido de noturno, sugeridos por cenas do referido filme, sobre o corpo de um espectador-terapeuta, e investiga semelhanças de família entre esses efeitos e aqueles que se manifestam em outros jogos de linguagem, não necessariamente fílmicos, que também encenam e significam o noturno de outras maneiras.

In this text, we explore the guiding thread of the volume "Objectivity after Kant" by first discussing how the main question pertaining to transcendental objectivity arose at the Centre for Critical Philosophy. This exposition takes the form of a microhistorical genealogy, from which the main ideas pursued in the research conducted at this Centre can be distilled. In the second part, we briefly sketch how the different contributors have addressed this question. Its purpose is to facilitate the reader’s navigation through the variety of topics and perspectives addressed throughout this volume, and incite further reflection on the central issue it pursues.

The precept “know thyself” in The Metaphysics of Morals is used by Kant as a guide for human beings to determine their limits and abilities about reaching freedom and autonomy. This precept is also found in the first Critique when Kant deals with the inquiry that reason must conduct upon itself. The discipline that reason must impose on itself in the first Critique is indispensable to establish its own area of activity, and to try to determine its internal conflict, originating in the transcendental illusion that reason itself creates. In Anthropology from a Pragmatic Point of View and in the Lectures on Pedagogy one discovers the same situation as it relates to the human being who enters into society: the person has to limit herself and her wild freedom. This type of limitation is productive because through it human beings can discover something about themselves. Limiting their actions requires human beings to shed their mask of morality and analyse the true intentions behind their actions. In light of this, it is possible to establish two different analogies. One concerns how reason deals with its illusion and how the human being does the same with the illusion produced in society (which in Anthropology Kant calls moral illusion. The other analogy concerns the type of discipline that both reason and the human being impose on themselves.

It might seem odd to look to Nietzsche, a philosopher infamous for his explicitly sexist remarks, for theoretical tools to illuminate the emotional dynamics of oppression. Yet in his descriptions of the transpersonal nature of affect and the exhausting, obstructive impacts of internalizing harmful social norms, Nietzsche offers us tools for doing just that. For this paper, I situate my analysis in the context of gender oppression and sexism.

O presente artigo analisa o conceito de parrésia a partir da conferência proferida por Michel Foucault, em maio de 1982, na Universidade de Grenoble. Suas análises partem dos escritos de Epicúro, Cínicos e Estoicos, mostrando-nos como a ideia de parrésia foi se adaptando ao longo da sociedade clássica, de um falar franco, um falar verdadeiro, à problemática do adulador. Por fim, suas análises nos fornecem subsídios para a percepção da presença da parrésia na psicologia, no cristianismo e nas instituições monásticas e em que medida houve atualização destes rituais confessionais ao longo dos séculos.
