Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.
History is littered with hundreds of conflicts over the future of a community, group, location or business that were "resolved" when one of the parties stepped ahead and destroyed what was there. With the original point of contention destroyed, the debates would fall to the wayside. Archive Team believes that by duplicated condemned data, the conversation and debate can continue, as well as the richness and insight gained by keeping the materials. Our projects have ranged in size from a single volunteer downloading the data to a small-but-critical site, to over 100 volunteers stepping forward to acquire terabytes of user-created data to save for future generations.
The main site for Archive Team is at archiveteam.org and contains up to the date information on various projects, manifestos, plans and walkthroughs.
This collection contains the output of many Archive Team projects, both ongoing and completed. Thanks to the generous providing of disk space by the Internet Archive, multi-terabyte datasets can be made available, as well as in use by the Wayback Machine, providing a path back to lost websites and work.
Our collection has grown to the point of having sub-collections for the type of data we acquire. If you are seeking to browse the contents of these collections, the Wayback Machine is the best first stop. Otherwise, you are free to dig into the stacks to see what you may find.
The Archive Team Panic Downloads are full pulldowns of currently extant websites, meant to serve as emergency backups for needed sites that are in danger of closing, or which will be missed dearly if suddenly lost due to hard drive crashes or server failures.

A significant extension of the eventological H-theorem first proved in 2008 is proposed. This extended H-theorem is an eventological generalization for the Boltzmann H-theorem from statistical mechanics and justifies the application of Gibbs and hyperbolic distributions of sets of events that minimize entropy and two relative entropies, for the statistical modeling the behavior of a rational subject, when s/he striving for an equilibrium eventological choice between experience and chance in various spheres of her/his co-existence with the world.
We prove the eventological H-theorem that complements the Boltzmann H-theorem from statistical mechanics and serves as a mathematical excuse (mathematically no less convincing than the Boltzmann H-theorem for the second law of thermodynamics.) for what can be called ``the second law of eventology'', which justifies the application of Gibbs and ``anti-Gibbs'' distributions of sets of events minimizing relative entropy, as statistical models of the behavior of a rational subject, striving for an equilibrium eventological choice between perception and activity in various spheres of her/his co-being.

H-theorem and Thermodynamics for generalized entropies that depend only on the probability2016 •
We consider a previously proposed non-extensive statistical mechanics in which the entropy depends only on the probability, this was obtained from a f(\beta) distribution and its corresponding Boltzmann factor. We show that the first term correcting the usual entropy also arises from several f(\beta) distributions, we also construct the corresponding H-function and demonstrate that a generalized H-theorem is fulfilled. Furthermore, expressing this H-function as function of the simplest Maxwellian state we find, up to a first approximation some modified thermodynamic quantities for an ideal gas. In order to gain some insight about the behavior of the proposed generalized statistics, we present some simulation results for the case of a square-well and Lennard-Jones potentials, showing that an effective repulsive interaction is obtained with the new formalism.
Many-events-based and many-agent eventological models of supply and demand are offered. In these models new concepts of equilibrium intervals of prices and subsets of goods are introduced for the first time. These models follow from the eventological H-theorem (eventological generalization of Boltzmann’s H-theorem) which serves as a theoretical base for an application of eventological distributions of supply and demand in the mathematical description of many-agent and many-events-based market systems.

We define degree of dependence of two events A and B in a probability space by using Boltzmann-Shannon entropy function of an appropriate probability distribution produced by these events and depending on one parameter (the probability of intersection of A and B) varying within a closed interval I. The entropy function attains its global maximum when the events A and B are independent.
