Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.
History is littered with hundreds of conflicts over the future of a community, group, location or business that were "resolved" when one of the parties stepped ahead and destroyed what was there. With the original point of contention destroyed, the debates would fall to the wayside. Archive Team believes that by duplicated condemned data, the conversation and debate can continue, as well as the richness and insight gained by keeping the materials. Our projects have ranged in size from a single volunteer downloading the data to a small-but-critical site, to over 100 volunteers stepping forward to acquire terabytes of user-created data to save for future generations.
The main site for Archive Team is at archiveteam.org and contains up to the date information on various projects, manifestos, plans and walkthroughs.
This collection contains the output of many Archive Team projects, both ongoing and completed. Thanks to the generous providing of disk space by the Internet Archive, multi-terabyte datasets can be made available, as well as in use by the Wayback Machine, providing a path back to lost websites and work.
Our collection has grown to the point of having sub-collections for the type of data we acquire. If you are seeking to browse the contents of these collections, the Wayback Machine is the best first stop. Otherwise, you are free to dig into the stacks to see what you may find.
The Archive Team Panic Downloads are full pulldowns of currently extant websites, meant to serve as emergency backups for needed sites that are in danger of closing, or which will be missed dearly if suddenly lost due to hard drive crashes or server failures.

Introduction: What is Time actually? Is it numbers on a clock, months on a calendar or is it something more? This document works to show the truth of what time actually is, in comparison of how far our understanding of time is off, because refuse to include the quantum realm within the definition and perception of time. The ebb and flow of the universe and the field in which we all live and walk within is both complicated and simple, complex by definition and simple based on how it can be used. The very essence of time can help us in understanding how to move and shape ourselves throughout this world.
Recognizing that there are many outstanding questions concerning the fundamental nature of Time a model is described herein which it is hoped will provide some of the answers. The model aims to draw parallels between our common experience of time and the known laws of physics which govern the universe. The core argument is an identification of the future and past with potential energy and entropy respectively. This assertion relies on the belief that time can only be measured by change in the universe and change is effected by motion in the present. The present is, therefore, represented by kinetic energy, the energy of motion, and time is a measurement of the rate of transformation from potential energy (the future), to entropy (the past). The paper puts forward a conceptual framework in which the phenomenon of time can be presented and discussed in a proper way. We argue that change is ontologically and epistemologically a more basic phenomenon than time. Time is an abstract entity created by the human mind on the basis of the experience of change. Physical reality is a process of ceaseless becoming and vanishing; time is not a part of that process. Time is the abstract bank in relation to which we measure the intensity and amount of the flow (change) of physical reality. We must differentiate physical reality from abstract entities (language) by means of which we speak about this reality. It is necessary to differentiate a formal description (formulas) from its interpretation: a correct formal description can be interpreted in a logically inconsistent and factually wrong way. We argue that the discourse about the relativity of time joins (mixes) physical reality and language, and gives an inconsistent interpretation of correct formulas. Regarding the future of time, it has been said that physicists are divided between two options: (1) to pin down a "master time", as a measure of change of physical reality, and (2) to proclaim time "out of existence". We argue that both options must be adopted, because time is (1) a measure of change, created by the human mind, (2) and time is an abstract entity that does not exist in physical reality.
Throughout the ages, "time" was an essential question for physicists and even more at present. Nowadays, physicists are trying to unify Quantum Mechanics and Einstein GR theory, to get an overall theory, which would represent the whole universe, from infinitely small dimensions to infinitely large, and "time" is a major element for this unification. This question of the real nature of time is a headache for philosophers and a real nightmare for physicists. Even today, there is no clear answer to that question. A great number of physicists claims that time doesn't exist, but it seems to be only a belief without a demonstration of its non-existence. However, does "time" really exist? Why do we have the sensation of an "arrow of time", while the equations of physics are reversible with the variable "time"? I am showing in this paper why time is not a real entity.

Different cultures around the world have independently discovered time in antiquity and developed calendars and clocks to measure this mysterious unknown. We say 'mysterious' because to this day no one has defined what 'time' is or means. Yet Mathematical Physics, particularly Special and General Relativity, are founded on time; neither can do without this strategic term. Time dilation is one of the three pillars of Special Relativity and the dimension of time is the fourth leg of General Relativity's ubiquitous space-time. What is it that theoreticians are stretching? What are they warping? Is time a dimension? Is it legal to replace height with time on a Cartesian chart and turn it into a Feynman diagram? And if time was born at the Big Bang, what is it that came to life? What does the babe look like? A closer analysis reveals that time is not a dimension. We discover that time cannot do without an observer. More fundamentally, we discover that unless we define this enigmatic word we will never understand what anyone who uses it is talking about.

What is and What should be Time1994 •
The notions of time in the theories of Newton and Einstein are reviewed so that certain of their assumptions are clarified. These assumptions will be seen as the causes of the incompatibility between the two different ways of understanding time, and seen to be philosophical hypotheses, rather than purely scientific ones. The conflict between quantum mechanics and (general) relativity is shown to be a consequence of retaining the Newtonian conception of time in the context of quantum mechanics. As a remedy for this conflict, an alternative definition of time -- earlier presented in Kitada 1994a and 1994b -- is reviewed with less mathematics and more emphasis on its philosophical aspects. Based on this revised understanding of time it is shown that quantum mechanics and general relativity are reconciled while preserving the current mathematical formulations of both theories.

A brief study of time2015 •
Understanding the nature of time remains a key unsolved problem in science. Newton in the Principia asserted an absolute universal time that {\it `flows equably'}. Hamilton then proposed a mathematical unification of space and time within the framework of the quaternions that ultimately lead to the famous Minkowski formulation in 1908 using four-vectors. The Minkowski framework is found to provide a versatile formalism for describing the relationship between space and time in accordance with relativistic principles, but nevertheless fails to provide deeper insights into the physical origin of time and its properties. In this paper we begin with a recognition of the fundamental role played by three-dimensional space in physics that we model using the Clifford algebra multivector.
