A local area network (LAN) is a computer network within a small geographical area such as a home, school, computer laboratory, office building or group of buildings. A LAN is composed of interconnected workstations and personal computers which are each capable of accessing and sharing data and devices, such as printers, scanners and data storage devices, anywhere on the LAN. LANs are characterized by higher communication and data transfer rates and the lack of any need for leased communication lines. Communication between remote parties can be achieved through a process called Networking, involving the connection of computers, media and networking devices. Abstract—Forensic analysis of a suspect program is a daily challenge encounters forensic analysts and law-enforcement. It requires determining the behavior of a suspect program found in a computer system subject to investigation and attempting to reconstruct actions that have been invoked in the system. In this research paper, a forensic analysis approach for suspect programs in an executable binary form is introduced. The proposed approach aims to reconstruct high level forensic actions and approximate action arguments from low level machine instructions; That is, reconstructed actions will assist in forensic inferences of evidence and traces caused by an action invocation in a system subject to forensics investigation.

The correct functioning of interactive computer systems depends on both the faultless operation of the device and correct human actions. In this paper, we focus on system malfunctions due to human actions. We present abstract principles that generate cognitively plausible human behaviour. These principles are then formalised in a higher-order logic as a generic , and so retargetable, cognitive architecture, based on results from cognitive psychology. We instantiate the generic cognitive architecture to obtain specific user models. These are then used in a series of case studies on the formal verification of simple interactive systems. By doing this, we demonstrate that our verification methodology can detect a variety of realistic, potentially erroneous actions, which emerge from the combination of a poorly designed device and cognitively plausible human behaviour.

This paper presents a new methodology for performing theory-based evaluations of user interface designs early in the design cycle. The methodology is an adaptation of the design walkthrough techniques that have been used for many years in the software engineering community. Traditional walkthroughs involve hand simulation of sections of code to ensure that they implement specified functionality. The method we present involves hand simulation of the cognitive activities of a user, to ensure that the user can easily learn to perform tasks that the system is intended to support. The cognitive walkthrough methodology, described in detail, is based on a theory of learning by exploration presented in this paper. This paper considers how the algebraic semantics for Verilog relates with its denotational semantics. Our approach is to derive the denotational semantics from the algebraic semantics. We first present the algebraic laws for Verilog. Every program can be expressed as a guarded choice that can model the execution of a program. In order to investigate the parallel expansion laws, a sequence is introduced, indicating which instantaneous action is due to which exact parallel component. A head normal form is defined for each program by using a locality sequence. We provide a strategy for deriving the denotational semantics based on head normal form. Using this strategy, the denotational semantics for every program can be calculated. Program equivalence can also be explored by using the derived denotational semantics.

RFID systems offer increased efficiency in controlling inventory
control in the identification of objects. RFID can be used to store and receive data remotely using a device that RFID TAG (transponder). Many applications can utilize RFID systems, for example for indoor security systems, highways, libraries, class attendance, even as the identity of the student /students. Therefore, in this research Raharja College presenting a Smart card System Design using RFID as a device interface and ARDUINO UNO as a controller to be used as a door security system. With the presence of this system is expected to be a useful new innovation in Raharja College and can improve the shortcomings of existing systems and can provide maximum service to the whole personal raharja.

Research on "PROTOTYPE DOOR CONTROLLING TO SAVE NATIONAL EXAM SCRIPT AT 11 SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL  TANGERANG" aims to provide security benefits in the national exam deception problems. This research was carried out by making a prototype in the form of a door with a security system using technologies of embedded systems. Namely to control a door through Android smartphone. This is because the security system is not running optimally so often lead to deception.
Therefore, we need a system to facilitate and secure the national examination script . All this time during the security room to store national test script using only a padlock. This research will provide
an overview of the complex mechanisms such as how a door will lock securely using an application on Android smarthphone as the key. The prototype uses a door control basic 4 android as an interface between users. By using Bluetooth as a sensor signal to the sender to call the personal computer (PC) database and added arduino uno as a DC motor controllers. The inefficiency of interpolation search for an alphabetic table has been demonstrated by F.W. Burton and G.N. Lewis (1980). This inefficiency is expected since such tables are usually far from uniform in distribution. However, for nonuniformly distributed tables for which the cumulative distribution function F is known, applying F to the keys yields uniform distribution for which interpolation search is very fast. In arithmetic coding a string of characters is mapped into the (0, 1) interval according to the probabilities of its characters. It is found that this transformation, designed for data compression, is actually the cumulative distribution function F for alphabetic tables. Experiments confirm that interpolation search on alphabetic tables, applying arithmetic coding to the character strings in a sophisticated way, shows a performance very close to lg lg n accesses.
