Gender, sexuality, and relationships are all given a high level of importance in 21st century western culture. We’re generally asked to identify ourselves on the basis of our gender, sexual ‘orientation’, and relationship status on forms and on social media, and there are moral panics over those who step outside the perceived norm in any of these areas. Consider recent news stories, TV documentaries, and social media ‘storms’ around trans people or sex addiction for example. Gender, sexuality, and relationships are likely to be of great significance in our clients’ lives, and it is important to have a good working knowledge of the diversity of forms they can take. Before going into this however, we need to have a clear sense of the understanding of gender, sexuality, and relationships that dominates in our current cultural context. This understanding will shape how we – and our clients – make sense of ourselves and others, and how we experience the world.

The book presents Muktibodh’s (Hindi writer) unique approach towards modern society and his longing for peace expressed in his writings. He is known as the poet of dreadful dreams in field of literature. The book highlights that behind the dreadful dreams lies the hope and the urge of the poet to bring peace in society. The poet has made an attempt to make people aware of this fact that though we are in spell of glamorous consumer culture, but there is a soul present within us, who longs for peace. When the pain becomes unbearable for this soul it screams and as a result we burst into tears in isolation. The dreadful dreams of the poet are the images of the world sensed by the soul, which also appeals to bring peace in the world.

People abused by angry discipline as children, may tend to abuse or overly punish other people or themselves for perceived wrongs in their adult life. In some individuals, aggressive personality traits may be genetically inherited. The aggressive personality may feel weakened by having guidelines or boundaries for anger. Anger is a normal human emotion, and these guidelines can help express anger in a healthy way.

The monograph describes the organic basis, the phenomena of lexical reflection and the logistics of the formation of new entities in business on the general theoretical positions of the development of activities in transition economies. Using the principles of the market economy and on the tools of political economy, the monograph clarifies the interaction functions, the genesis and the structural-analytical model communication of movement, which arises in business and approximates the reproduction complex to the post-industrial economy. Based on the logistics of stratification and structuration, the monograph develops classification signs and situational provisions of filling business with quality, a conceptual principle of accelerating the transition of relations into business, and a method of forming the sphere of service business.

Obsessive compulsive disorder(OCD) is a disabling and prevalent disorder with a variety of clinical presentations and obsessional themes. Recently, research has begun to investigate relationship-related obsessive–compulsive (OC) symptoms including relationship-centered and partner-focused OC symptoms. In this paper, we present relationship obsessive–compulsive disorder(ROCD), delineate its main features, and describe its phenomenology. Drawing on recent cognitive-behavioral models of OCD, social psychology and attachment research, we present a model of the development and maintenance of ROCD. The role of personality factors, societal influences, parenting, and family environments in the etiology and preservation of ROCD symptoms is also evaluated. Finally, the conceptual and empirical links between ROCD symptoms and related constructs are explored and theoretically driven assessment and intervention procedures are suggested.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to extensively report the implications of the global trend of declining fertility rates and an increasingly ageing population. The experiences of childless men are mostly absent from gerontological, psychological, reproduction, and sociological, research. These disciplines have mainly focussed on family formation and practices, whilst the fertility intentions, history, and experience of men have been overlooked. Not fulfilling the dominant social status of parenthood provides a significant challenge to both individual and cultural identity. Distress levels in both infertile men and women have been recorded as high as those with grave medical conditions. Design/methodology/approach The aim of this paper is to provide some insight into the affect involuntarily childless has on the lives of older men. This auto/biographical qualitative study used a pluralistic framework drawn from the biographical, feminist, gerontological, and life course approaches. Data were gathered from in-depth semi-structured biographical interviews with 14 self-defined involuntary men aged between 49 and 82 years from across the UK. A broad thematic analysis highlighted the complex intersections between involuntary childlessness and agency, biology, relationships, and socio-cultural structures. Findings Diverse elements affected the men’s involuntary childlessness: upbringing, economics, timing of events, interpersonal skills, sexual orientation, partner selection, relationship formation and dissolution, bereavement, and the assumption of fertility. The importance of relationship quality was highlighted for all the men: with and without partners. Quality of life was affected by health, relationships, and social networks. Awareness of “outsiderness” and a fear of being viewed a paedophile were widely reported. Research limitations/implications This is a study based on a small self-selecting “fortuitous” sample. Consequently care should be taken in applying the findings to the wider population. Originality/value Health and social care policy, practice and research have tended to focus on family and women. The ageing childless are absent and excluded from policy, practice, and research. Recognition of those ageing without children or family is urgent given that it is predicted that there will be over two million childless people aged 65 and over by 2030 (approximately 25 per cent of the 65 and over population). The consequences for health and social care of individuals and organisations are catastrophic if this does not happen.

This article explores aunthood as a morally charged category. By conducting a thematic analysis, we analyse advice-seeking posts published in Dear Savvy Auntie, an American online advice forum for aunts. We examine the moral tales of aunthood and particularly why some aunts might feel that they cannot openly articulate their sense of responsibility within the family context, and the consequences of this. This leads us to assert that one way of 'doing' moral aunthood can be a form of non-doing, and allows us to examine how aunthood is done and displayed in ways which are often hidden and unacknowledged. We suggest that caution, avoidance and self-restraint may be routine aspects of displaying aunthood and of working out family responsibilities and family obligations.

PERSONAL LANDSCAPE TRANSFORMATIONS FOLLOWING
THE TRAUMATIC WAR EXPERIENCE
The personal landscape transformations are defined as the territory of a person's life, which has special dynamics, structural and functional characteristics, meaningful filling. In addition to specifying the landscape concept, the task was to determine the types of landscapes of combatants after returning from the war. The sample consisted of 91 combatants, higher education cadets, and volunteers. We used the written narrative method of the proposed scheme, a conversation, and a focused one-on-one interview. As a result, post-traumatic combatants' narratives consisted of war-related injuries (41.9%); family treason (24.7%); losses suffered in peacetime (23.5%); other difficult life situations (9.9%).
The following criteria for determining the type of landscape have been developed: meaningfulness of the past; assessment of the present; a vision of the future; value dominant. There is considered the value-semantic configuration of the individual`s life as an integral indicator of the landscape. The following types of landscapes have been identified: a) existential (differs from the unwillingness to rethink the traumatic past; to assess the present adequately; the inability to construct the future; the dominant for survival); b) family (distinguished by a good understanding of the past; adequate assessment of the present; detailed construction of the future; dominant of meaningful relationships); c) service (differs from family primarily by the criterion of dominant value - to be useful to the state, the fight against the aggressor, the army); d) self-realization (differs in the main value of self-development); e) pragmatic (distinguished by the major value of career advancement).
The most common landscapes are existential and family landscapes (25.0% each); in second place is landscapes of service and self-realization (17.3% each); on the third - pragmatic (13.6%). The hypothesis according to which the direct participation of military personnel in hostilities can act as a trigger for changing the personal landscape is confirmed.

Individuals perceiving stigma may be unwilling to seek support directly. Instead, they may use indirect strategies due to fear of rejection. Ironically, indirect seeking leads to unsupportive network responses (i.e., rejection). In Study 1, data collected from structured interviews of a sample of U.S. women in poverty (N= 116) showed that perceived poverty-related stigma was related to increased fear of rejection, which in turn partially mediated perceived stigma and indirect seeking. In Study 2, data gathered from structured interviews of a sample of U.S. abused women (N= 177) revealed that perceived abuse-related stigma was linked to increased indirect seeking, which in turn related to increased unsupportive network responses. By contrast, direct support seeking was related to increased supportive and decreased unsupportive responses.

Is sex work (specifically, prostitution) vulnerable to technological unemployment? Several authors have argued that it is. They claim that the advent of sophisticated sexual robots will lead to the displacement of human prostitutes, just as, say, the advent of sophisticated manufacturing robots have displaced many traditional forms of factory labour. But are they right? In this article, I critically assess the argument that has been made in favour of this displacement hypothesis. Although I grant the argument a degree of credibility, I argue that the opposing hypothesis -- that prostitution will be resilient to technological unemployment -- is also worth considering. Indeed, I argue that increasing levels of technological unemployment in other fields may well drive more people into the sex work industry. Furthermore, I argue that no matter which hypothesis you prefer -- displacement or resilience -- you can make a good argument for the necessity of a basic income guarantee, either as an obvious way to correct for the precarity of sex work, or as a way to disincentivise those who may be drawn to prostitution.

In this narrative essay, I draw from Bakhtin (1990) and Baxter (2004, 2011) to forward writing aesthetic moments in autoethnographic inquiry. Through storying experiences with my father, I offer writing aesthetic moments as an approach to writing about mundane—yet deeply meaningful—experiences that may be overlooked in epiphany-driven autoethnography.

An important key to emotional self-healing is to fully embrace our emotional pain and relationship pain with an open, nonjudgmental, nonpartisan, compassionate, warmly loving heart....We have an innate urge to restore our natural wholeness of being by reunifying with formerly estranged, disturbed, self-conflicted, aspects of ourselves.... We can let be and embrace our judgments and conflicted feelings but also see beyond them to a deeper level of our being that is unconditionally relaxed, serene, intrinsically self-accepting, and naturally, compassionately nonjudgmental.

It is estimated that 4%, to 5%, of the adult population within the United States, are openly engaging in polyamorous style relationship s. Black Americans are substantially underrepresented in that percentage. This composition discusses
polyamory and how polyamorous relationship structures may be beneficial in black community building, restoration, and strengthening efforts. The first section focuses on polyamory, its history, manifestations, and theory. The second section dissects Black American social conditions throughout American history. The third section discusses polyamory and its implementation within the Black American community. The fourth section highlights a personal interview with a Black American polyam­orous woman to provide an intimate insight into life as a polyamorous Black American.

The purpose of this study is to examine relational dissolution using the technique of ghosting. This qualitative study explores the emerging adults'dissolution strategies leading up to and through enactment of disengagement through mediated contexts. Participants (N = 99) completed questionnaires about their ghosting familiarity and participation as initiators or non-initiators. The majority of participants reported participating in both roles. Five themes described why initiators chose to enact ghosting, and three themes chronicled their ghosting decision-making processes. Noninitiators illustrated how they realized ghosting occurred through three themes. This exploratory investigation offers a definitive definition of ghosting and a modern discussion of its contents to dissolution, communication, and romantic relationship development.

A nem heteroszexuális egyének egyre inkább köztudatba kerülése, előbújása tehát szükségessé teszi, hogy felismerjék, valamint tudomásul is vegyék létezésüket, párkapcsolataikat és családalapítással kapcsolatos törekvéseiket. A dolgozatom célja, hogy lehetségessé váljon egy átfogóbb kép alkotása ezen egyének viselkedéséről, összehasonlításban a heteroszexuális egyének párkapcsolati magatartásával, szerepeikkel. A téma középpontjában a nemi szerepek állnak, hiszen ezek alapvetően befolyásolják az egyének párkapcsolati viselkedését. Az otthoni és fizetett munkamegosztás vizsgálata pedig a párkapcsolati viselkedésbe enged betekintést. Láthatóvá kívánom tenni a társadalom egészének eltérő hozzáállását a két csoporttal szemben, és hogy ezen különbségek miként befolyásolják a nem heteroszexuális egyének attitűdjeit, magatartását. Ugyan továbbra is kisebbségben vannak, egyre jelentősebb méretű társadalmi csoportról beszélhetünk, amely viselkedésének megértése jó alapot jelenthet a társadalom egészének megismerése felé.

It is common to hear about academics’ personal lives in terms of a lack. We know, for instance, that academics have fewer children, marry less, and work longer hours than those in other ‘professions’ (Mason et al. 2013; NTEU 2015). The growing population of precariously employed academics is understood as especially afflicted, with couples and families needing to move or separate for work, and living with low, irregular pay and limited or no leave. These issues disproportionately impact women, and particularly young women, as this group is overrepresented in precarious academia (May et al. 2013).
