Objective: The aim of this study was to analyse the processes involved in delivering relationship and sexuality education to young people in state care from the perspectives of a sample of service-providers with a role in sexual health-care delivery. Design: Qualitative methodological strategy. Setting: Service-delivery sites at urban and rural locations in Ireland. Method: A total of 22 service-providers were interviewed in depth, and data were analysed using a qualitative analytical strategy resembling modified analytical induction. Purpose Young incarcerated male offenders are at risk of poorer sexual health, adolescent parenth... more Purpose Young incarcerated male offenders are at risk of poorer sexual health, adolescent parenthood and lack opportunities for formative relationship and sexuality education (RSE) as well as positive male role models. The purpose of this paper is to report the process of co-production and feasibility testing of a novel, gender-transformative RSE programme with young male offenders to encourage positive healthy relationships, gender equality, and future positive fatherhood. Design/methodology/approach Using a rights-based participatory approach, the authors co-produced an RSE programme with young offenders and service providers at two UK prison sites using a sequential research design of: needs analysis, co-production and a feasibility pilot. Core components of the programme are grounded in evidence-based RSE, gender-transformative and behaviour change theory. Background: Technology-based interventions (TBIs) are widely being tested to integrate into the e... more Background: Technology-based interventions (TBIs) are widely being tested to integrate into the existing health system to increase preventative healthcare utilizations. Despite an uptake of TBIs, evidence remains inconclusive regarding its effectiveness due to a lack of comprehensive and concrete evaluations. This study aims to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of TBIs in improving antenatal visits, postnatal visits, and delivery care services in LMICs using Bayesian network meta-analysis. Methods: To identify the relevant studies, we will perform a comprehensive search of electronic databases and grey literatures with no language or publication date restriction. We will include experimental studies if they assess effectiveness of TBIs on improving perinatal care utilization among pregnant women. Recognizing this trend, there is merit in developing innovative online knowledge translation (KT) strategies capable of translating research on men's health into engaging health promotion materials. While the concept of KT has become a new mantra for researchers wishing to bridge the gap between research evidence and improved health outcomes, little is written about the process, necessary skills, and best practices by which researchers can develop online knowledge translation.
