Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.
Ulrike Haele
Ulrike Haele holds a master in Communication Science and Political Sciences from the University of Vienna as well as a degree in Industrial Design from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. She is a research associate at the IDRV (www.idrv.org) since 2010. For the MAK (Museum of Applied arts, Vienna) Design Lab she conceived the interventions on the subject of “positive change”, and together with the MAK the dynamic mediation-concept. She headed the research project „How Should We Live?” funded by the programme ”Sparkling Science. Science linking with school”. From 2016-2018 she co-curated the StadtFabrik (CityFactory) research laboratory for new fields of work in the creative industries, comprising a major exhibition within the framework of the Vienna Biennale 2017. Since 2015 she is a lecturer at the New Design University, focusing on design for sustainability.
Since 2019 she is an assistant professor, at the bachelor programme Manual and Material Culture. She is also a lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, focusing on Design, Sustainability and Technology. Her current research focus lies on Post-Growth Design.
