LAUNCHED: The Migration Data Portal aims to serve as a unique access point to timely, comprehensive migration statistics and reliable information about migration data globally.
The Missing Migrants Project tracks deaths of migrants and those who have gone missing along migratory routes across the globe. More than 32,000 migrants around the world have lost their lives since the project began in 2014.
The MGI is a tool developed by IOM in collaboration with the Economist Intelligence Unit, which aims at supporting voluntary governments in taking stock of their migration governance structures.

In response to growing calls for better data on migration, and better use and presentation of migration data, IOM has created a Global Migration Data Analysis Centre (GMDAC).
As a global hub for data and statistics on migration, GMDAC aims to conduct and coordinate research and data projects.
Located in the heart of Berlin, Germany, the centre is well-positioned to provide authoritative and timely analysis of data on global migration issues.
