The 3DS eShop is an online marketplace that is only accessible through the Nintendo 3DS. The 3DS marketplace launched on June 6, 2011 in the US and June 7 in Europe. You can currently purchase 3DS downloadable titles, 3DS Demos, DSi and Virtual Console titles here here. NES and GameBoy Advance games are currently available only via the Ambassador Program as Free eShop Games. The eShop also provides downloadable trailers and video viewable in 3D.

The 3DS eShop features only Game Boy and Game Boy Color games. NES and GameBoy Advance games are available only as Free eShop Games via the Ambassador Program, and have yet to become available to the public for purchase.
The 3D Classics series presents classic NES games like Excitebike and Kid Icarus as 3D remakes, but are not part of the Virtual Console.
The Nintendo Video service provides downloadable animation, music videos and trailers. These can be downloaded via SpotPass and can be viewed offline. Nintendo takes away the video's, giving an incentive to be on there every day.
The Netflix application for the 3DS does not currently support 3D video.
