Nothing says America like hot girls, explosions and ass kicking. Luckily for us, Captain America agrees (he is Captain America, after all), and because of that, we get today's Babe of the Day Hayley Atwell making 1940s military uniforms hotter than ever.
The bonus from this recent influx of comic book movies is that, even if they're not what we expected or hoped for (which, to be honest, they rarely are), the babeage is certainly not lacking. Case in point:
Before she was World War II French Resistance fighter Peggy Carter in Captain America: The First Avenger, Hayley wasn't the big screen celeb she is now. It wasn't until Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream that she finally got her big break. Since then, the success just keeps on coming, with MTV's NextMovie.com naming her one of the "Breakout Stars to Watch for in 2011."
You can see her as Peggy Carter in Captain America, out on Blu-ray on October 25th.
