League of Evil developers Ravenous Games and WoblyWare have revealed the first details on League of Evil 2! The LoE team has partnered up with indie studio Bulletproof Outlaws to replace the original's chunky pixel art style with new, high-res hand-drawn artwork.
Ravenous has stated that despite the revamped visual style, the game is running off the same core engine, and will feature the same "…tight controls, short bite sized levels and fast action gameplay."
IGN awarded the original League of Evil a 9 / 10 "Amazing" score, praising the game's pure oldschool platforming goodness. Many have referred to the game as the closest iOS approximation of Super Meat Boy, due to its emphasis on bite-sized levels requiring a few seconds of perfection to clear.
